Can anyone clarify if HM is neccessary to get the style page? If not, does anyone know if doing HM increases the drop rate and by how much?
Update* Can confirm HM isnt neccessary since Ive seen it drop. Does anyone know if HM increases drop chance?

sadlythebest✭✭✭As far as i know, having the hardmode achievement gives you double the drop chance as stated in the event post
However if you are running with a pug group, its always nice to check if anyone needs the hard mode achievement either for their chance at double drops or to complete a pledge.
If you are running multiple runs with a premade group with everyone having obtained the hardmode achievement already, then completing the dungeon on vet non-hardmode nets you the same chance of the style page. (However low the chance)PC-NA

✭Thanks. I have a hard time believing HM doubles the chances. Ran Blessed Crucible over 50 times and didnt see anyone get style page. So far in Direfrost Keep, it has only dropped the time we ran it non hardmode.

sadlythebest✭✭✭I know how you feel, I gave up after 12 runs strait for the troll king style page with my guildies, all with achievements. No one got it. I figure just buying it in the guild traders might be a better alternative than spending hours in the same dungeon waiting for RNGsus to bless you with a drop. That is, if you really like the look

Well whether or not you completed that specific run on HM is really irrelevant. The question is....did you complete the dungeon on HM prior to that run at some point?0 -
