✭I wonder if the drop rates are affected by how many crafting motifs you’ve learnt, same as the crafting writs drop rates increase as your character learnt more motifs.Pc na2 -
TheKingofSass✭✭✭✭The writs were dropping like hot candy. Got the skin yesterday, and due limit play time I have only done the new life quests on 4 characters so far. I got at least 2 writs per character and yesterday, I got 4 on a row with 1 character.
Honestly I'm glad I can put that grind behind, I couldn't imagine doing all 9 quest on my other children. Now I will be just doing 1 quest per day for that mystery box and tickets. I agree. I love New Life Festival, I don't get bored during these quests. However Midyear Mayhem and the Undaunted event... those are horrible grinds for me, and usually I simply skip them.0 -

It's not the case of putting in the effort. It's the case of even if you put in the same effort as someone else it could turn out that they get 12 writs handed out like candy and you get none. PRO-TIP: If you have alts that have not started them yet, log them in and talk to the quest giver for an easy box. I got the last 3 I needed in about 5 minutes by doing this on about 8 characters.1 -

✭Xbox NA after 219 boxes I'm at 5 writs. I played more than normal on Saturday and Sunday but I haven't seen a writ since Friday evening.
Xbox EU, around 45 boxes with 0 writs.
Running 5 accounts on the NA and 1 account on EU. I have run characters fresh out of Coldharbor all the way to my grand master crafter and it doesn't seem affected by what they know.
I'm pretty sure I will get there on NA but I'm skeptical about the EU.0 -

Crazy! Not a fan of the RNG monster. I've been doing it daily on 8 characters (3 EU and 5 NA). I have 9 writs on EU and 8 on NA. This is all I've been doing in the game since the event started. Agree. I have no issue with putting in hours to get a reward. This is why I think the Indrik was the best thing ZOS ever did. It was gauranteed after 48 event tickets. I would happily do 100 new life quests if it gauranteed the skin but the rng in this game is very fickle. There never seem to be boundaries on the statistical limits. People can open 12 boxes and get 12 writs while others can open 100 and get 1

✭I mentally couldn't run those quests on more than 3 alts a day. I guess I'm lucky since I got my ice skin on the third day. I even had a surplus of those writs.
However once I tried to grind them further for gold they almost stopped dropping so I guess I'm done with this event, especially since the price is going down.0 -

Some people get lucky and get all 12 writs on the first day. Others get nothing on multiple toons over many days. Screw this ZOS...I am off to play something else!1 -
