..give the Tools to Tamien Sellan instead of Stibbons?

every character I've made so far, I've given the tools to Stibbons.

does Tamien replace Stibbons or anything like that?

    Nope. I did it on one character just to see what happened, Stibbons is just disappointed in you for a little bit and Tamien is never seen again.

    I think I prefer giving them to Stibbons anyway, it means you don't have to climb up that tower thing and accidentally launch yourself off it multiple times while trying to jump onto his ledge...

    Also, Tamien insulted the Alik'r and my Redguard couldn't stand for that :p.

    I decided to give the tools to Stibbons. I'm quite fond of him, it wouldn't feel right not to.
