End of the War?

(Spoiler of a secondary mission of Alinor)

During a secondary mission in Alinor, it seems that Jorunn wants to negotiate peace/truce with Aldmeri Dominion. Are we moving towards the end of the war?
Or is Zenimax paving the way to further intensify the war?

Maybe, after all, it's just a joke because Rigurt disrespected the King.
But there is still the possibility, right?

The end of the mission seemed quite promising.
At least for Proxy Queen

I think due to what was happening at the Crystal Tower there was going to be a possible ceasefire at least since before or during the final story quest Raz alludes to getting help from outside the AD to help fight in the final battle. But we really don't know what comes next since there's another 300 years or so before Tiber Septium is born and eventually unites most of Tamriel.

I also play on PC from time to time but I just wanna be left alone on there so sorry.

If anyone can end the war, it's Rigurt. Although I wonder what will happen when his Orc wife hears about the Proxy Queen ?

So they raised the floor and lowered the ceiling. Except the ceiling has spikes in it now and the floor is also lava.

As far as I know, there is no information on the war. So it may, well, end anytime.

It would be very difficult to add this inside the game. But it would be very interesting for the future of the game, a way to reinvent the PVP system of the game. I think it could work, though it's very difficult.

but technically summerset does not happen chronologically after the main quest? And Vvardenfell? For at least for me, it was very clear in these DLCs that the truce was over as soon as Molag was defeated.

The same way we have Imperial City, where the war continues but apparently happens after the Coldharbour fight.

Well, if we assume the Vestige does not allign themselves with any of the Three Alliances, all of them will crumble.

The Dominion will fall apart through the Dark Mane; the Covenant through Emeric's nightmares, and the Pact... Well, it's the Pact, the tensions within it would tear it apart.

After being unable to fix PvP after 4 years ZOS is coming up with a lore appropriate reason to completely remove it from the game.

    Spoiler: Stirk Story; dlc connections
for me the events on stirk send a very clear message:
fighters guild, mages guilds and the vestige tell the alliance leaders to the face "there is a real threat out there and we r going to end it. its cool that u cant support us, because of your pathetic war, but we hopefully wont need u, dont break tamriel while we r gone. think about how well u r serving your ppl by having them kill each other by the thousands, while we make sure the survivors wont get eaten by deadra."
the leaders themselves, should realise, that all of them succeded in uniting three different cultures to fight for a common goal (freedom, equality and respect among each other) and that all of them actually share that goal.
by ending the war, all of them would actually reach their goal in a far better way than planned (not destroying 6 other cultures). none of them should still believe at that point, that s/he can serve its ppl better when sitting on a fancy chair in the middle of a battlescared wasteland. (or being able to take on both the other factions)
to me, its the only logical choice. there will for sure be a lot of bickering, negotiations and the one or other skirmish. maybe the me-vestige would have to bash in some more heads until they see reason (or the light at the end of the tunnel).
the all-out war for the iron ruby throne however is over.

the dlc stories. they r designed in a way where it doesnt spoil/ruin the story no matter in which order u play them. chronologically at the end of orsinium the prophet warns u of a deadric threat that slowly unravels over morrowind -> cwc -> summerset. in all of those territories, heroes from any faction r welcome. in orsinium, theres a lot of lorebooks telling u that kurog is a strong ally of the daggerfall covenant and personal friend of highking emeric. mentioned above already, rigurd is send to summerset. if there was still an all-out war the "other" factions wouldnt be allowed to enter any of those places. esp summerset gave me the impression of a truce being in place for a while and the boarders slowly and carefully opening up again.
