ZOS have some decency: No summoning animation - 600 gems mount

I was looking forward for this since it was datamined and immediately I already envisioned myself riding this expensive sports car but it was shattered when I saw that it was lacking on many aspects. It lacks summoning animation, a more unique sound effects, and perhaps more icy animations at the body like the ones in eyes.

The only advantage Frost atro cat have right now is the model & eye fx. When Indrik evolution goes live, Frost atro will pale in comparison to this where the only point of having it is personal preference and sense of superiority "limited time."

Yep agreed. I still think their best crown crate season was their first one - the storm atronarch...They literally had everything; a summoning animation, an awesome thunderbolt howling animation, lightning footsteps, and a high quality visual design when they were moving.
Now look at what we have? A 600 crown gem ice popsicle with legs.
Just summarises the state of the game; lacking quality over the years with a higher price attached to it.13 -

how many times are people going to fall for this stuff? There’s an endless series of threads about how people got ripped off on crown crates and expensive houses and mounts, a simple search will reveal that none of it is worth the money. It exists ONLY to make lots of profit with little or no effort, that’s what the crown store is, a cash cow. Do not ever expect, from now until the end of ESO, to get anything worthwhile from the crown store. If you have saved up crowns or gems from subs and free crates, sure go for the little stuff here and there or utility tokens. Beyond that expect to be disappointed as that will be the norm. 6 -

Absolutely hit the mark on this. I love my Atronarch mounts and this 600 gem re-skin is lackluster at best. ZERO design imagination and I am glad i have the horse.
I'll bank my gems and take my chances with an ultra rare mount.0 -

I mean, the storm atronach mounts are the gold standard in terms of animation, texturing, effects, and just quality overall. Compare them for example with the flame atronach mounts which don't have nearly as much animation (I think they only really have the fire around them? someone correct me if there's more going on). Although... vote with your wallet and don't buy it I guess lol3 -

Dr3sden✭✭✭It's an luxury item for people who want something nobody else is likely to have. Personally I think value isn't there but you know other games charge such prices for reskins. The question of ethics though is if they create imbalance by having mounts at only this price. Honestly though... on a different note we need places so show off mounts.0

✭✭✭✭✭I was very underwhelmed by the work on this mount. The "roar" effect was very small and didn't leave any lingering glow or aura, as apex mounts do, no glowing footprints, and worst of all, not even a summoning animation.
Had the mount had all that, I would probably have kept it, but instead I got a refund for my 600 gems, going to use them on something better instead.1 -

Jamdarius✭✭✭✭✭Don't know if any of you remember it but there was a horse called Frost Mare Which costed us 3000 crowns.
Now they placed sabre cat, same design for 600 gems? If we count that we get 10 crown gems / crate that means we would need 60 crates to get the mount, which is if we buy 15 crate packs for 5000 crowns each 20.000 CROWNS and we all know we are not so lucky to get the 10 gems / each crate ... So they want us to pay 20k crowns for mount that is worth 3k crowns at most ?
This is pure robbery to me, they also took away free crates from daily logins/ free eso + events/ twitch drops barely drop and we didn't get free crates (as we always had) before new crate season started... I always deemed that free crates were the chance to get something nice once in a while as some sort of reward however I can see now how much greed can be seen from the state the game is in. Well gl to anyone willing to buy that, and small tip of the day for the guys who decide on the prices in crown store: sell cheaper sell more, basics of good marketing...
