Been running around for over 30 minutes and not a wasp to be seen. Maybe when you do an event make sure there is enough of whats needed to go round!!

as before I haad no problem with teleporting to my own house now I had loading screen for 10 minutes and just restarted game WHILE WANTED TO GO INTO EMPTY OF PLAYERS INSTANCE1 -

You have to think outside the "box" on this one to avoid the crowds. The wasps are fairly easy if you know which route to take. It's the wolves that are the most annoying.3 -

✭✭✭The wasps respawn every few minutes. You only need to tag one of them to obtain the honeycomb then you can go about your way. It’s not that painful even though more wasps or a faster respawn rate would be nice.7 -

✭✭✭✭✭Every event that requires you to compete with other players for nodes is going to cause issues.
I'm actually amazed at the unwillingness to change event required spawns during the events.
Dolmen groups stop you from getting plunder.
CWC nodes are low spawn and are not enough to support the amount of people that are hunting them
Dungeon event further separates players by allowing random to be completed by porting
New Life spawn rates do not reflect the amount of people needing to interact with spawn.
They all are jacked up, but we get free things and they are on for several days, so I guess the data shows that people do in fact complete an acceptable % of the events, so they don't need to be looked at.
Pretty dumb to be honest.Tl;dr really weigh the fun you have in game vs the business practices you are supporting.4 -

✭Not sure it helps, but something that was pointed out to me is ANY wasp in the zone counts, not just ones within the quest circles.10 -

highelf one could use some more interesting things to it, like its just give money to orphans. (who dont exist, ever seen someone under there mid 20's in eso.... npcs i mean), seems like every other race got a peice of lore or tradition for the season added. would have prefered something like even making food for the non existing orphans or something like praying at a temple to the divines the highelfs hold in higher regards

I just arrived there, ran up to a wasp, killed it, looted and went on my way, first time, no hassle. Not sure why you are having a problem. It was super busy when I got there as well. Maybe I just got very lucky.0 -

✭✭✭✭The wasp one was always the worst of the nine quests, mainly for reasons of insect scarcity.
Fortunately, in past years you could abandon your quest and probably get a different one of the nine.0 -

✭✭✭✭It’s not nearly as bad as the Murkmire prelude mammoth hunt. It just looks a bit frustrating at first.
There are lots of wasps outside the circles and any kills, including crabs, will drop meat. Also there are vast numbers of resource nodes to farm while you wait.
I don’t think some experienced players realise you only have to get a hit to get the loot.
Have fun and don’t let it drag you down.

GarnetFire17✭✭✭✭Wasps are on the south east coast of the island and there is a path up to the ruins where many many wasps look down from above the lake and the wayshrine. everyone tries to camp the same 3 or 4 wasps in the middle of the map though lol.0

If you see a couple people just standing around, they are waiting at a spawn spot. Be ready with an AOE and stand with them. Should take less then 5 minuets.0 -

This. Never took me more than 3 minutes to gather materials for this quest. Ah... People these days, everything should be effortless. Though I mostly play PvP, New Life Festival is my favourite event - it's extremely chilling, no rush, no pressure I'm done with this game because of ZOS pushing us into Vengeance, because they don't know how to fix Cyrodiil.6 -

✭Ran 3 characters through all 9 quests each tonight, lots of players trying to get the wasp kills on Betnikh, and the longest I spent trying to find a wasp was 3 minutes. I even hit it once then blocked to give another player a chance to tag it, and it took over a minute for someone else to come along. I think a lot of players just aren't roaming out far enough to get away from everyone else.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭I wouldn't go so far as to say it "sucks". Some of the dailies are inventive (like the one where you cannon ball off the bridge). Though I'll admit that honey comb quest is annoying.
My biggest complaint is how rare the writs are. Once again players who don't have a lot of alts are getting shafted.0
