Why this mage guarding Chalman keep in Cyro can have perma Bound Aegis glowing effect while we can enjoy it for 2 seconds only?

Rebirthment✭✭✭✭I think that was the very old look from the skill before it was changed into just the glowing purple effect pre Summerset.
I never really liked it since it would go against outfits or costumes I would wear and having to turn it off and back on or ditching the skill entirely was annoying.0
