Character Trophies Achievements

Do you think that @ZoS should increase drop rate for trophies needed for Character Trophies Achievements (like for example Chitin Accumulator)? They are one of the worst RNG based achievements to get, why players must grind that hard for couple of COMMON colours? I don't understand logic behind that.

Or at least give us something to help out there. I mean, we have XP scrolls to make things more convenient, why not have "trophy hunting kits" that raise your trophy drop rate to "one in ten" for half an hour or so? Grab the kit, go hunt to fill your trophy achievement... make it just like the XP scrolls, either craftable with rare stuff, or crown purchases, with the occasional freebie in the daily rewards...

Of course, they could just as well sell color unlocks in the crown store too, for those hard to unlock colors, just so everyone can indulge in all their rainbow needs. Either play for it, or pay for it, its just a cosmetic after all, right? Or just do both and let people choose what they want to play for the hard way, or where they want to spend crowns on some shortcut...

Just farm the trophies. I completed all of them like +2 years ago and it was not that hard. Just go to spots where those monsters are (there are areas with specific group of monsters that re-spawn quickly) and farm them.

In last week I spend almost 4 hours farming only shalk without a drop, also played for 2 years, farm mobs from time to time and still did only two of the achis. I'm glad that RNG was good for you but not everyone got that luck.

well I was playing single character for over 3 years
some trophies I got by just running an content or farming this content and some I needed to farm for hours
got almost every, I miss only single achiev from this - Undead Hoarder - and single trophy to complete this - Ectoplasmatic Discharge - and this I aslo farmed for many hours, days and nothing

but now I stopped caring about achievs as I started playing on my only one alt while stopped playing my main for years as and this was boring and achies are like we see...character bound...so I dont care about them anymore as I now dont play my main but just saying as @Czekoludek is right about this damn RNG with trophies to achievs if someone want it

I've been playing on and off since beta. I've never farmed anything specifically for this achievement but I kill plenty of things in my adventures across Tamriel. I don't think I've managed to collect all the trophies in any one of the categories yet, much less all of them.

The dwarven ones are the easiest to complete. There's only two of them (whirring dynamo and centurion core (I think)) and there's enough delves/public dungeons/group dungeons that specialize in dwarven constructs that they tend to show up pretty quickly.

Just an FYI in case you want to have a minor accomplishment of closing out one trophy category.

Oh thanks! I should check and see if I actually have that one. I know there's one I looked at recently (whatever one the giant bats are in) that I've only got 3 and it's got a pretty long list compared to some of the small ones!
