    Banished Cells comes to mind. They need to cut out the chit chat, or put the quest completion up front.

    I have NEVER had a group disband on me when I told them at the beginning of the dungeon that I had picked up the quest to complete the dungeon. They have either told me they wouldn't stay and I left or someone did stay long enough for me to complete. You just have to learn to communicate at the beginning of the run and let people know that you want the quest completion and skill point and 9 times out of 10 at least one person will hang out with you til you finish. If the whole group doesn't want to stick around they let you know at the start after you've asked so you don't waste your time going through it with them.

    You are either insanely lucky or you have not played many dungeons.

    They added it because of cheating and griefing.

    This way you can't have 2 teams making it go faster. Or you don't have someone that quits and gives trouble to the group. For instance resetting encounters.

    That doesn't make sense. This just does not have anything to do with the kick mechanism.

    I echo the sentiment of removing the kick timer. No point in it. Don't see what its hurting. Some of the ending cutscenes for the quests drag on forever. Having just started doing group content I have no idea how long some of these scenes are so I don't think to ask people to wait to leave. If its guildies I do because usually one or two will stay. But pugs, hell no. Just remove it and be done with it.

    @UPrime
    We're talking about removing the kick timer *after* the final boss has been defeated so people can stay in the dungeon to finish the quest without getting kicked.

    They could make it so, that everybody who leaves the group leaves the dungeon, allowing a 1 man group. But SirAndy names it, it's about "removing the kick timer *after* the final boss has been defeated".

    You guys would love doing dungeons with a buddy of mine. He will literally spend like 10 min either looking for EVERYTHING or just typing in chat, even at the end, he'll just.... stay.
