I'm running into this problem with my Khajiit and the new Bright Throat markings. I'm using i think the puma fur marking which gives me a pretty black coat which conveniently matches shades with my dyed gloves, thus hiding the gloves appearance. But when i apply the chalk markings the fur style is removed and the underlying "skin" color is a lighter shade of black even though its as far dark as the slider can go, thus making my dyed outfit more contrasted, standing out.

Can't Tattoos be their own texture layer that can be placed on top of your chosen body marking? I love the idea of wearing the chalk bright throat marking to give my Khajiit a Tribal character trait, but as it works now all i can do is wear the facial marking without removing anything else. The body markings are what i really want.
