Well the highest parse was wearing necro ancient grace . Will power. Pushing 63k max magic.
I have bright throat...Mother sorrow. Juli...mechanical acuity. I can put any of those together. Pretty sure its a weaving problem. Not gear. Ill take any advise tho.
I started learning weaving last night actually. Understand before this post I was just mashing the same crystal blast button over and over again, lots of light attacks and using an ultimate. I was just mashing buttons before this thread, slowing down and watching timers feels weird like I'm not doing as much dmg lol, it makes me want to just mash away to be doing something! I do notice I use a LOT less majika with the changes and do a lot more damage.
Based on this thread I'm working on this rotation in group settings and also working on animation cancelling which seems to be an art of it's own. I'll switch out to other styles mentioned in this thread also once I get basic rotation learning down.
Tossing in a few pet heals when needed which really works well we almost wiped last night and I spammed pet heals and it made the difference. I'm amazed at the amount of healing it does as well.
Light attacks and heavy attacks question.
The weaving in light attacks is to build up ultimate and proccing for various sets correct? Are there other reasons?
Heavy attacks, it was mentioned about heavy attack build in this thread? Heavy builds up magika and does more damage but on other posts I've read they've stated that the extra dmg isn't much. Am I missing other reasons you would want to heavy attack versus a light attack aside from the majika regen?
I'm running Illambris set. Using Julianos flame staff with flame dmg enchant on back bar, and Julianos lightning staff with shock enchant. I played around with switching out light attacks from both to get both shock and flame procs from the Illambris and am only seeing the flame proc visually. Is the shock proc a different color of just can't see it? It should proc with the lighting staff and shock enchant correct? I looked on google last night and couldn't find any info must be a such a basic question nobody posts about it.
Thanks everyone.

The primary purpose of light attacks is damage. Light attacks don't cost time if done properly, and therefore make up a huge chunk of your total dps output. After that it's for activating enchants and other effects, like proccing Ilambris and such.
You wanna do as many WEAVED light attacks as you can for maximum dps. However, light attacks don't help your sustain. Some classes and builds can get away with using almost exclusively light attacks between skills. Pet sorcs don't. Typically, you channel a heavy attack every one or two rotations to help your sustain. On the plus, this means you are likely able to use blue food for maximum health and mag pool (this important for pets). I've heard with a really good healer, people actually didn't have to use heavy attacks, but I can't confirm from exoerience. Also note that you wanna channel that heavy attack when the enemy is off-balance, indicated by swirls around the head.
If you're using a lightning staff, which is the best for channeled heavy attacks, your heavy attack also becomes your prime add clearing tool, as it does respectable and free AoE damage.
Thank you for the info on light and heavy attacks, I started weaving in two LA's and heavy here and there. Just a huge change to DPS with all the changes. I don't know what my DPS is yet haven't tested it but on just normal mobs en mass I used to have to toss out two or three crystal blasts and now I just toss a liquid lightning and hit my volatile familiar and they die within seconds.
I've not been able to even solo WB's hardly at all as I ran out of majika before. This weekend I went from zone to zone andI cleared about every WB like maybe 15 in total and soloed them all with the exception of a few toughies, some of them I barely used half my majika and took almost no damage, what a huge difference. Some of them were WB's that had three high health mobs and still took them down. I even ran a few vet dungeons and I had only ran one before and did a good job.
I failed at Falkreath hold final boss though, just got wiped over and over again! I'm going to need to look up the mechanics on that one. I noticed I take a lot of flame damage though, probably need to have a few fire resist enchanted pieces of armor for backup on some dungeons.
Thanks everyone, this has been extremely helpful.

Flame resist glyphs are generally unwanted. If you need more flame defense, put more CPs into Elemental Defender and Spell Shield.
But for Falkreath, positioning is key. And burning down adds.
Nice to hear you're improving!
