What about it?
I was playing with controller for around a month because of a wrist injury, or at least I tried to do so. It was a absolute chore. Controllers don't even have half the amount of buttons needed to comfortably play the game. I ended up taking strong painkiller before raids so I could play with mouse and keyboard again.
Don't you have to put down the controller to type something? So you have the keyboard anyway?

I'm not even sure that it is safe to google that to look for a gif...

And unless you can type really fast with one hand, you have to put down the mouse to type something.
I learned to play action games on consoles over the years (Atari, Nintendo, Playstation 1-3) and PC was primarily turn based strategy games. Mouse and keyboard feel awkward to me, but I try to go back and get better with it every now and then.

One of my guildies has used a controller since launch. I believe he posted his setup on the forums aeons ago.
