    Had that once

    Just closed the game with task manager and restarted it, and everything was back to my normal settings

    This normally happens if you've changed any hardware on your PC or a major change in IP, as the game thinks you're somewhere new or on something new.

    This happened to me once. I was seriously freaking the f**k out. All that game time, all the accomplishments, all the gear, all the gold.... all gone.

    Then I realized that I had logged into the PTS instead of the live server.

    True story.

    Haha. I had to turn the power off earlier and when I logged back in everything had gone to pieces. All good now. Phew.

    When that happens it's almost always because your UserSettings file got corrupted or overwritten. Always keep a copy of that file and your saved variables in a backup folder.
