Crafting Station Furniture: Easy Fix for them

What needs to be done is ZOS needs to change them so they no longer have to be set down within a certain range to activate. Just make them so they are active when placed any where in the house.
Does it really matter if someone places them off the ground? It's their house. If they want an Escher House so what. It's not like we can place them anywhere except in our own homes.
This is the simplest way to fix the things so we can use the platforms.
EDIT: If this can not be done, then please explain to us why. We are just tried of them now being fixed the other way. Time to try something new.

Zath✭✭✭Was just wondering if the crafting station on platform bug was still a problem or if it had now been corrected. Adding station sets to my Aldmeri Grotto guild hall with the uneven ground is a real pain so I just put down some ballroom floor platforms to test.
Can I take it there's still an issue with this?

Still an issue. If it's just you using, you just need to reset one item to fix all. Problem comes in when you share the location to visitors to use the stations.1 -
Zath✭✭✭Thanks for confirming Grimm. Was hoping it had finally been resolved with the last major fix to station positioning.
So pretty much the only house where we can place a large number of set stations without having to adjust the height of each one individually anytime we move things is Coldharbour?

✭✭My guild has all crafting stations on the beach in the Grotto (used to be nicely laid out on a platform area, but they stopped working). So, GM rearranged all of them along the beach in an inconvenient layout, but they all work.1 -

Yup, if ZOS would change the stations so they are active whether placed on ground, Platform or in the air, then we could arrange them as we like and conveniently for our tastes.
We can only place them in our homes so what does it matter on the placement to have the working no matter what? What does matter to us is that they work reliably and how they are now does not work.
Zos, Stop doing the same thing and expecting different results.
