Been grinding for a Bright Throats staff for the past couple of days. Haven't gotten one yet. I know, I know. RNG. Yes. I accept RNG and all. But this is my issue.
It's not that I am not getting BTB weapons. Because I am. But they are all for stam classes. And when I do get staves, they are stamina based.
Now. I know people like to get stam weapons that are magicka based and vice versa for some builds. And I'm cool with that. But the fact that the overwhelming drops are for fhe opposite of what it's for is just frustrating.
Anyways. Flame away. Just wanted to blow off some steam. Have a good day.

✭✭✭✭✭Actually, I find that to be the case most of the time. It doesn't matter where it comes from, whoever picks up a weapon discovers it's for some other class. Which is okay with me, because I have several of everything in all the "flavors". But it's still pretty strange! RNGeezus is a tricky witch....1 -

✭The rule is to farm mag sets with a stam character, and stam sets with mag character. Seems to work majority of the time.3 -

Unfortunately no. I'm on Xbox NA. I don't mind grinding for stuff. I spent two weeks straight going for Necropotence jewelry for my Sorc. I just never had this type of bad luck before grinding for gear. But on a positive note. I did just get a BTB Resto staff lol. I guess I finally broke the code lol.1 -

✭✭✭IDK, I haven't had a problem getting BTB or any of the Murkmire sets in terms of Weapons. Sure, an oddball Ice Staff of Dead Water's or Resto of CotH but on the whole, they've been nowhere near as tedious as other sets I've tried to farm in the past. Jewelry, on the other hand, is where the grind is at. I got maybe 2 Dead Water Rings but that's literally it in terms of Murkmire Jewelry and it's really annoying.Argonian forever0 -

✭✭✭✭✭Do you really want to cheese of the RNG program. Go ahead and get all your armor skills and weapon skills to 50. Since the RNG program 'randomly' picks your lowest level skill for equipment, it gets mad when they are all 50.0 -

✭Game seems to have the RNG set to make more players have to trade to get, giving the opposite of the character that farmed the item. Frustrating to us that are farming with the character that you want the item for so it's the correct level.0
