I've been mostly done with crates for the last couple seasons, but with all argonians, I figured I'd make a pull for some mounts that fit my characters.

It was a mistake.

I've already known I'd have to live with the fact I'll "win" dresses when I don't want my guys running around in drag. As well as makeup, jewelry, tats and other collectibles I can't even use b/c they don't work on Argonian.

Then I get a bow that looks like I dropped it in slime and didn't bother to clean it off. I'm sure for some it would be great, but I think it's stupid.

But then to open my inventory and see a bunch of dye packs that I cannot get gems, gold or anything else for and are pretty much just going to be deleted was a real insult.

ZoS, you guys are getting carried away with the gambling/micro-transaction thing. You might be making a buck now, but you are burning bridges.

I have no idea, I was told they are a one time, one outfit use, so they seem like a complete waste of crowns or anything else. I never bought any and never would have. I guess you click them and the colors go to your outfit in whatever way they have pre-determined. Dye stamps wouldn't be useless if by using them those colours got added to your palette for unlimited use on other pieces. When I spend crowns for a mount, or a house, or a costume, all my characters on my account can use those houses/mounts/costumes whenever I want.

Dyes unlocked via achievements are already unlimitedly unlocked account-wide; I have no earthly idea why dyes bought from the crown store don't function the same way.

My main has a wedding suit dyed with the Canadian red and white stamp from around the beginning of July. I wish I could dye it green for St. Patty's Day or purple/red for Valentine's Day, but I know if I do the red/white colours from the stamp (which are great and pop really nicely) will be gone forever. Dumb.

I'm pretty sure it's just a case of those dye IDs being accidentally omitted from the gem table. Maybe bring it up nicely and it can get fixed by the time the gem exclusives are added in?

Not Outfits. Dye stamps can only be used on Costumes or a combination of Hat and Costume.

I heard you couldn't use them while you had plus. which sounds not right to me but I figured eh. maybe thats why i cant use em (I was just gonna use em n then just put dye over it again ghjk) I had one of the ones for leveling up. Tried to use it. char is wearing costume. doesn't work. tried seeing if there was like a selection from dye station. nope. just says this item cannot be used at this time. Tried when I had plus and when I didn't so???? I mean i kind of don't care but also like? can you not even use the product? The only dyestamps i think are OKish are the ones that have unique colours but i think a colour only being available via dye stamp is pretty dumb. Dye stamps over all are just. Dumb. I don't buy crown crates but I think the crap should be removed from them. Like some of the stuff is "not very good" but not total crap i guess. Like crown crating stones or whatever are okay if you have one of the crown only motifs but tbh other than that the low tier stuff i can't think of anything that's decent really. Atleast make so dyestamps can be applied to any dyeable thing.
