Question regarding the Pariah Set?

I’ve been comparing defensive sets and I was thinking about running Pariah, just curious if the set can be backbar’d. Is the resistance provided through Pariah a buff so that when I swap to my front bar (and lose the Pariah 5-Piece) does the buff remain?

✭✭✭✭✭I do not believe the buff remains, since it is a persistent buff and not a timed buff. But it is a good double barred set. I run it and Bright Throat on my Sorc right now and it's pretty strong.5

Reefo✭✭✭can be back barred on classes without proactive healing (vigor, power lash etc), coz you would have to remain on defense until its safe to go on offense.0 -

Yeah I was thinking of something similar. Either what you said, or Shackle/Pariah. I’m also think of Shackle/Bright Throat with 2 Bloodspawn or 1Chudan, 1 Pirate skeleton. I like having the extra Stam and Stam Recovery but I’m sure Pariah paired with Vamp can be pretty good1
