Question regarding the Pariah Set?

I’ve been comparing defensive sets and I was thinking about running Pariah, just curious if the set can be backbar’d. Is the resistance provided through Pariah a buff so that when I swap to my front bar (and lose the Pariah 5-Piece) does the buff remain?

Youll lose the resistance in your front bar

I do not believe the buff remains, since it is a persistent buff and not a timed buff. But it is a good double barred set. I run it and Bright Throat on my Sorc right now and it's pretty strong.

can be back barred on classes without proactive healing (vigor, power lash etc), coz you would have to remain on defense until its safe to go on offense.

Yeah I was thinking of something similar. Either what you said, or Shackle/Pariah. I’m also think of Shackle/Bright Throat with 2 Bloodspawn or 1Chudan, 1 Pirate skeleton. I like having the extra Stam and Stam Recovery but I’m sure Pariah paired with Vamp can be pretty good
