Always get 999+ ping during afternoon to evening

Hey,
Is it normal that everyday I get 999+ ping during about 16:00 to 00:00?

At first I thought it was my internet but I always go to PingTest and it said I have 17ms ....

I play from Israel btw.

Please help.

    Same and I'm from Australia but should that be the issue I'm not sure if the mega server is working out?

It should show if there are any hops along your connection to ESO's servers where the connection is losing packets or dropping. If there are any hops where your connection isn't fully stable or has a high latency, you may want to contact your ISP for further assistance.

    I am getting high ping at about 16:00 starting from 300 to 999+ and its getting back to normal at 00:00 (GMT+2).
    On weekends it is far worse. In other words can't play on prime time. Normal ping (about 100) only in the morning and late at night. Ping test (on prime time) shows 80ms though. I have noticed most players that have the same problem are from Australia and Middle East.The solutions that support gave me via email didn't help. In other words get used to the lag or move to another continent...we will never get a fix for this.. because all they think about is what more useless stuff they should shove us in crown store instead.

    @ZOS_MollyH You guys seriously think its packetloss on the way to the server?!?! This baffles me and make me loose all hopes the lagg ever will get fixed in cyro.

    If everyone phoned their ISP provider in the afternoon when we got 999+ ping we would crash the telephone system ! lol

    Maybe its not their connection to the ESO servers but maybe the servers themselves are the problems here. Yesterday in Azura Star NA PC everyone in my group was having 500+ ping all day (most dropped because of it), most of my guild members were having the same lag issues, and people in zone chat were talking about how bad the lag is. Please have game masters or ZOS employees in each campaign and in each faction so that they can help the rest of ZOS to understand what we are dealing with here on a daily basis.

    This 999+ latency is also at evening from location Belgium.
    Like this morning again everything works very smooth, also graphics are very good.
    When the problems start FPS drops between 10 and 20, and latency in red displayed between 700+ & 999+

    Around 16:00 it starts and maybe finished at 01:00.
    I use PC & cable connection.

    If you should summarize the Zone chat in Cyrodiil you should know this is not a client-side issue.
    My hardware is much higher then the Recommended specifications on the ESO website.

    This is the only moment at daytime when I want to avoid PvP Cyrodiil, but always a relieve to go into IC Sewers because suddenly latency and FPS is almost restored. The only moment latency high or FPS low in IC is when fighting bosses with a lot of attack effects.

    Sorry to resurrect but was there any solution to the Israel players? Got back to ESO and the 999 ping happen to me last evening. In the morning all was smooth. I'm on EU megaserver.

    Its not a problem guys its normal for ESO. Ive been playing since it was beta and it never changed. You dont have to look at your "Game Consultant reports" or you dont need to " contact your ISP for further assistance" because they are not going to help anyway. Obviously mods and game developers not going to accept that their game has huge lag so yea it must be your problem :) 2 years ago i was playing this game in UK and it was laggy, my entire computer change also i moved to Turkey and it is still laggy. Its not about your comtuper setup nor your internet provider. This game is one the most laggy games on the internet world so far. If you want to play without lag try to play between 2:00am and 5.00pm. Otherwise you cant escape from lag in Cyrodiil.

    Wow. Is this actually still working? I have done what you said and change my entire computer setup also my region and you know what LAG didnt go. Because it is not costumer's problem obviously. The main thing is that you guys truthfully need to start to embrace that your servers have serious amount of lag so people can actually believe that maybe one day you may fix it. Because now it has been more than 2 years and you have lost so many people just because of lag and you fixed literally nothing about lag.

    +999 ping is perfectly normal... for ESO. I stopped playing because of this BS.

    I keep asking, and letting you know what the issue is, I'm not making this up nor do I have any tendencies to lie about this, go check my twitch, well even better my Youtube. I have been on the Island of O'ahu for years and have been playing this game just fine. Using the same resources. Spectrum.

    Nothing, has changed at all on my end. I had allowed more than enough time in my life for your basic customer support with all their troubleshooting avenues. Supplied file after file, code after code and proven there is nothing wrong on my end.

    Gina, we , that is, if anyone is like myself I say "we", are depending and counting on you to supply some feedback in this problem. By any means necessary. You can privately reach out to me via any means, mail, board PM, email, even cell phone. I would agree to 100% absolutely in keeping the conversation specifically between us if there is some kind of legal contract keeping you from publicly speaking out on in house matters.

    However, that said, I can only suggest you present these issues and narrow them down for an idea board. A panel of about 3 to 7 people, to create a chart or powerpoint presentation with specs and numbers. In order to bring this information to your legal team in order to determine what you can and cannot say publicly.

    All I am saying Gina, or Jessica, or anyone from Zenimax that wants to listen and learn, is tha tI have a legit problem that presented itself as early as September 2018. Now, and from the evidence of where my physical location is, my internet service provider, my PC specs , drivers and software, my youtube channel with recorded or streams dungeon runs in pve or 20 player raid runs in PvP is more than enough to prove that if you, and or your company is going to play the "it's all on you and your ISP" card, then know with all my proof, it's only you that looks like you're full of ess aich eye tea!

    So the longer you people at zos stand by company policy and not addressing this issue, or anyone else's in this thread, is more than enough to make you look bad, generate a lot of heated conversations, hate, discus, distaste, and an over overwhelming anxiety from regular long time players to newly found player base in regards to this game.

    It's a great, great game so don't misunderstand me, however how it's being handled just plain sucks.
