Just take the tickets and the event rewards away from the FG exploiters.

I just hate the fact that such a huge exploit is being let go on a giant scale. It's about the principle of the thing.

Let something like this go one time, more things are going to pop up. It also makes the game look kinda crappy.

It's not the fact that the queue system was broken and bugged for the entirety of the event or the fact that the same exact thing happened last year... Clearly THIS is what makes the game look bad! Hahaha you are a riot.

I'd think most players would rather cave into peer pressure and port to FG1 than have to requeue and wait another half hour or more for another group. I can't blame them for that.

I opted out of the event so I wouldn't have to use the broken finder at all, just completing dungeons for tickets-only without reward boxes.

The obvious transgression here is the "coding."

When you port into a random dungeon, the name/id of that dungeon should be stored somehow. And when you do complete your dungeon, a quick comparison should take place to see if the final boss for that dungeon matches the dungeon you ported to for the first time. If it does, then bingo you get the daily reward. If not, then no reward. A simple logic check, but that does not happen. Don't blame people for using all the tools at their disposal to be the most efficient.

@Nyladreas I'll stand up for you here. Yes they should take away tickets oof people who did this. It IS and exploit and if they don't give some sort of punishment it will be a huge mistake. And I'm honestly shocked they are not already doing this.

If you don't think this should be punishable you most likely used the exploit yourself.

I mean ffs they were banning people for gap closing into keeps in pvp. They punish people who farmed IC when they screwed up, they banned people for farming AS in a way "not intended" that's just to list a few. They have a track record of enforcing people who use known exploits. If they don't enforce this it will be a shock to me.

YOU decided that it's an exploit. YOU decided that it's wrong. YOU decided that it's bad for the game. YOU decided that everyone that did it should be punished.

ZOS, on the other hand, has not stated any of this and has not agreed with your conclusions through any official statement.

In this case, silence is golden. As has been mentioned numerous times in this thread, this is exactly the type of post, accusations, and whining we saw in regards to animation canceling.

What happens if ZOS comes out and states that this is just an unintended side effect of a mechanic and isn't considered an exploit? Some people continue to whine and others slink back into their corners.
