Cause it's not fair to those who do things legitimately, actually put in the time and effort and actually have some interest in playing the game for others as well.

Taking away the rewards from these exploiters hurts a ton more than a ban in my opinion and is a good way to make your point across without hurting the population.

It's an obvious exploit by definition.

I just hate the fact that such a huge exploit is being let go on a giant scale. It's about the principle of the thing.

Let something like this go one time, more things are going to pop up. It also makes the game look kinda crappy.

If this is the thing you're worried will make the game look crappy...Well I think that tells us all we need to know. I personally think having an event that would require me to play 7 hours a day to take full advantage of said event would make the game look crappy. I did FL and MHK on a PvP character during this event because I'm not an a**hole. But i also ported to FG1 when the group wanted to because what I want isn't more important than what everyone else wants. It's called being decent. It sounds like you might wanna look into that. Too much salt is bad for you anyway.

You're all missing the point. I couldn't care less about what the exploit is. It's the fact that it's an exploit that's being wrongly justified and thanks to its presence on a large scale promotes toxic behaviour towards those who play fair.

You could be exploiting wayshrine costs for all I care. Doesn't hurt anyone but it's still wrong. Get it?

Have you even tried doing this on 8 characters ? I personally have only 8 (I know some people have 15). I queued for the dungeon as healer => I had no good tank, crappy DPS | I queued for the dungeon as tank => I got *** heal, no DPS | I queued for the dungeon as DD => I got no heal, no tank. You get the idea.

So after the first day of spending literally the whole day in instances because most of the time, we had *** group and I had to carry people for instances lasting between 30 minutes and hours, I was like ok, this sucks. Hard. This is not fun.

I like to help people when they are willing to try. When people are just there, and taking advantage of you, not my problem! I won't be the guy spending hours in it because someone can't use breath of life or a taunt. You can spend your time that way if you want, but this is stupid imo.

Why the tickets? This is a thing for years. You would have to remove all xp, transmute geodes and agility/willpower/endurance gear from everyone who done it. It just comes into light whenever there is event involving finder.
You got tickets by clearing any dungeon anyway, is it for using finder or not.

Event is over anyway and everyone will forget about it till the next year.

It's over. ESO dropped the ball with their radio silence. When the group decided against porting, I stayed. When they decided to port, I went. I missed an entire day of mystery boxes because the group finder was broken. Glad your performance was good enough to allow you the luxury of taking the moral high ground. By day 2 after hour and a half failed queues, I was damned if I was going to risk getting kicked just when I finally got into a random dungeon because the pug I ended up with wanted to port. That being said, today, first random after the event, dd asks to port to CoH because he has gear to farm. This does need to be fixed as new players are going to battle to get dungeons, with undesirable equipment, done. It's hard enough for them to get quests done with high level players just rushing through as it is.

    It's a FAULTY PRINCIPLE though.

Since NO ONE who matters said it's an exploit at all.

However, on the other hand - in my opinion - people who expect other players to just hang around whilst they wipe endlessly or do 1k dps and die all the time, and expect to be carried/rezzd etc - are exploiting other PEOPLE.

No. But maybe for next year they should limit the reward to one per account per day.

Personally, I ran 10 characters through on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Mostly with guildies and we took the given dungeon 90% of the time since there was always at least one person in the group that needed the quest for that dungeon on that alt.

It was a lot of fun, but it took a lot of time to get through all of them. Not the kind of time I have on a work night, unfortunately. But whatever we did, we had a great time and I'm looking forward to actually taking my time through some of the DLC dungeons now that the event is over.
