I'm not getting Twitch crates anymore.

I don't understand why I'm not getting it anymore.
In before "have you linked your account bla bla blah", yes, I used to get lots of twitch crates loosing my time watching streamers.

Yes, last 2 months, I would get an email saying that I got a crate, but 2 times out of the 4 emails, the crate never appeared on my account. So.. meh

Doesn't seem like anyone is any more. They really nerfed those drop rates.

There were quite a few Twitch events throughout November and I didn't get a single drop. Used to get them left and right but no longer seems worth the bother. Just another sign of their systematic removal of free crates/gems.

Didn't get a single crate for streaming all weekend long. Oh, and only got 1/4 of the crowns I should have for the crown packs I bought via streamers.... I have a ticket in for that one, actually.

This most likely ties into them no longer giving out free crown crates. They want people to buy creates with real money. So these crates giving people gems had to get nerfed into Oblivion too.

Can't have people getting free crates.

The Twitch crate drop rate has been nerfed into the ground. It’s best to expect nothing because that is exactly what you are going to receive.

I just have the stream in the background while doing writs, I basically just do writs and decorate these days

I meant the free gems you'd get from the twitch crates. They're cutting down on all those freeways of getting gems it seems. Thereby forcing people to buy crates with money if they want stuff.

ZOS did lower the drop rate without telling anyone. And they must have lowered it by a huge margin as the current drop rate almost equals zero.

Warframe : Watch streamers 1h and get 100% drop. Literally max 10 seconds after the 1h passes, you get ingame mail with the drop.

ESO : Watch streams.. No timeframe. abysmall chance to get one. IF you win one, you get it days later..

Firstly. to promote streamers, the warframe method does a better job. Why bother sit in streams You dont want to watch to begin with for just not getting anything.
Then, those twitch drop crates do not hold that much of value items in it mostly. There is no reason for this low drop rate at all.

Its not that they give out 10 Crates. Its mostly 1 single crate. Literally why is there a chance based system at all.

Since switching away from the Steam version I have gotten zero....however it's just a chance to get them and that chance has apparently been lowered quite a bit.

I generally watch more than play because of my work schedule. My job is cool with me watching twitch all day long on my phone or laptop as long as the work gets done, so yeah I watch a lot of streamers. In november I got a big fat 0 crates. I work around 70 -80 hours a week and that is not counting my commute for work. NO DROPS. Seriously! Thanks ZOS.

I suspect that a number-cruncher said that players are getting too many free Gems. Free Gems translate into potentially fewer crate purchases. To address this, the drop rate of getting a free crate was reduced substantially.

True. The rest of the story is that, based on current trends, they have eliminated the other more profitable (gem-wise) free crates. In all, it was a good amount of gems that we used to get. Also, at first, we could get 3 free twitch crates a day and the drop rate was very good. I saved my emails regarding twitch crates and the early ones were 2-3 emails a day. The last twitch crate that I received was on November 5.

That said, I'm thankful for all the free gems and it was nice while it lasted.

Thank you for letting me know. I hated watching Twitch streams, it was a chore and I only did it for the crates. I'd missed doing it for a while and was fretting about getting back to it, but since there is no incentive, I guess yay. FREEDOM!
