I know that 90 % of posts are ignored by devs but I will say it anyway: I had enough.

Recents days were some sad and bad joke in ESO. I wanted to participate in third event but there are technical issues almost every day - Dungeon finder does not work, you make maintenance in prime hours on Saturday (EU server) and then after that I can't login to the game. Yesterday I couldn't even queue to the dungeon.

The quality of the execution of this even is very poor but the worst part is that ZOS do not even care. They could make event longer or something to compensate and as a gesture of good will.

I decided to make a longer brake from the game - something has broken in me - I wasn't having much fun in ESO recently in general (mostly because besides vet dungeons and trials theres nothing to do as regular Story content gives no challenge and what comes with it - no satisfaction and is purely boring). This broken, terrible event was a nail to the coffin.

I know that no one will care that I'm leaving the game but I just wanted to point out that game makes a terrible experience in last weeks.

You has a point that there is no challenging PVE oriented content outside of dungeons and trials, this has been a massive problem for a long while and needs to be addressed.

Much of the content should be a challenge.

I had one break already for like 6 months once. I came but, now after 500+ hours I'm taking another brake but now I feel I might be not coming back.

Recently I started playing Destiny 2 with all dlcs and I'm having a blast! So many things to do in this game, good challenging content worth of a prize. I already found a clan and have much more fun that I've ever had in ESO and I got like only 50 hours into the game.

Oh for the love of ..... To difficult for you to walk out in silence . We all take break from a game from time to time. You can easily participate this event, but YOU making this problem from bubble to balloon. Who cares about that damn mount, you still ganna be riding it 10 % of your time.
You obviously got affected by this chain reaction of QQ's, stay strong and motivated not following these kids who are always butt hurt.

On the other hand, one has to realize that this is not an oversight by ZOS, but a decision by ZOS. They want the PVE end game to be dungeons, arenas, and trials. It is not that uncommon of a decision, to be frank.

Youd think Zenimax Online would habe figured by now that creating events that amass more players into something that already gets buggy under normal circumstances, will just compound and worsen said bugs.

I'm sure these events are just there to keep people busy while people at ZOS take time off for the holidays and the resources are likely not all available when it goes horribly wrong like this.

While not to minimize your own difficulties, I haven't had any problems using the activity finder during the event. It's strange how some people are having such problems with it while others are able to use it issue free.

I agree with you about the story content though and how it offers little to no challenge. That's been an issue for me also.

I took a 1.5yr. hiatus (at 1 Tamriel), came back last summer, found the game improved quite a bit EXCEPT for overland PvE content (and Imperial City - yuk, still feel claustrophobic there - not the tunnels though). I'm still having a great time, but that might have something to do with my best buddy with me.

I did the same thing 2 years ago after playing for about 4 months. Got bored to death by stupid easy quests, so I switched to dungeons to grind exp, then got bored by the repetitiveness. I came back in august because I wanted to play a great RPG and got bored again after a couple of months. I discovered pcp early november, which saved me so far, but the lag and disconnects in Cyro is about to have my skin...

It's very sad, because this game has the potential to be so much better, but when you think about it there's not many games that can keep one interested for 8 months of play time. There's at least that...

I've just been soloing the dungeons to avoid the group finder. Yeah, I won't get any of the boxes but I'm just farming event tickets for the Indrik mount anyway.

The nice thing is that it seems that you can solo most of the non DLC dungeons even with moderate skills. I am NO great player by any means. I am max CP, but only run with crafted gear and weapons and do just fine. I have run Banished Cells, Spindleclutch, and Fungal Grotto over the last three nights and been able to fully clear them with not one single death. I will admit that the final boss last night in Spindleclutch took ALL of my skills to kill, but I absolutely loved the actual challenge of it all!

You just need to find a workaround for the pain points, or take a break (or move on completely). I'm sure they would fix the issues if they could. Until they can the only thing that we as players can do is adapt or move on.

Breaks are good...for a lot of things, not just games. I'm thinking of taking a couple of months away after the New Life Festival but I'll be back. Your frustration has built up which happens to a lot of players.
