History, like a human being, is thirsty when it wakes from its slumber…History wants to drink up an enormous amount of blood. And even if history has tired of drinking blood, that’s only in regards to the amount. But what about quality? The larger the sacrifice is, the more delighted the cruel gods will be.

When something is offered for a limited time, that means that it will shortly be withdrawn from offer.

That does not preclude that item being offered again in the future. To my knowledge, Zenimax has never offered an item 'one time only'. If you interpreted 'for a limited time' to include 'and never offered again', well, that's on you, I'm afraid.

You're confusing Limited Time with Limited Edition.
Just because you don't like the way something is doesn't necessarily make it wrong...

    Earn it.

IRL'ing for a while for assorted reasons, in forum, and in game.

There have been a few items that got offered "for a limited time" only once so far, but I don't think that was intended that way. There's no benefit to ZOS for artificially limiting supply to boost demand, if they can't cash in by selling again later.

Limited time offers (especially the online digital ones like in the Crown Store) are designed to drive impulse purchases based on FOMO (fear of missing out).

If the only reason you bought something was because you wanted to be able to compare yourself to others with a 'look at what I got that you can't get' feeling of superiority, you should get help.

This. I do not think it is to hard to figure this out. Most of the limited time items are not brought back quickly.

As others have said (and as I have posted in other threads), limited time does not mean one-time only.

Sure, not everything has been brought back yet (some because they've only been recent limited-time offers), but most of them probably will. Many have also been put in crates.

In a game that has new players coming in all the time, I hardly think it fair that there would be items they just could never purchase. And, it's in ZOS' best interest to offer them again for new players or older players who missed out because they couldn't play during the specific window when something was offered.

As for the old PC Loyalty Rewards that someone mentioned, those won't be re-released, since they were never in the store to begin with.
