[Skill change / fix request] NB - Dark Shade (Summon Shade morph)

Dear Devs,

Since this morph is completely under-performing in usefulness / damage / duration and speed I have a few requests for change regarding this skill:

- Make this morph have an infinite duration, like the sorc and warden pets have now.
- Make this morph be able to cast without a target needed like it needs right now.
- Make the damage it does AoE -only-, so no more single target damage, only AoE.
- Increase the damage so it is on par with other DOT's in this game, it's current dps it pathetic right now (+/- 600 damage / sec in PvE).
- Change it so the summon uses the magic penetration of the summoner, right now it (still?) does not.
- Change it so the attacks of the summon are considered direct magic attacks by the summoner and can trigger proc sets and / or other things.
- Fix it so it does NOT teleport back to it's summoning location after each kill.
- Increase it's running speed, which is STILL very low.

    So you want to double bar it? Because that would be the only way to keep it fair.

    I would like to see some changes to that morph but I absolutely hate pets needing to be double-barred.

    My hope is all pets will no longer require double bar anymore.

    Having the shade as a permanent pet would make it OP minor maim at all times that would be to powerful zos would remove that straight away and you would lose the point of the shade

    So I know what your asking for but it would remove the whole point of the skill and that is it’s a tanks utility yes I said Nightblade tank

    Yes the teleport back to where it started needs fixing

    But your asking for a pet that does magic attacks and runs around with you and look at how well that worked out for the Wardens bear

    Sorc and warden pets have slow summoning, shades summon almost instant, sorc and warden pets must be on both bars, sorc and warden pets can die, shades are immortal, you want same for shades?
    Sure it will nice to destroy NB anchor point of his escape skill in PvP lol.

    I'm pretty sure that's Shadow Image does not require targeting.

    Sorcerer clannfear also have both single target and sometimes AoE tail swipe, why shades need to have AoE only?

    Why only for shades and not for all pets?

    there IS a lot you could do with this skill. but double barring it would be sucky. i think it having a duration is just fine.

    No one's using Dark Shade for DPS anyway, they're using it for Maim.

    This makes zero sense. The damage is not being done by you, so why should it proc other sets and conditions?

    Just because you don't like the way something is doesn't necessarily make it wrong...

    Probably has checkbox on Customer Service profile that say High Aggro, 99% immunity to BS

    Having read the comments, i'll change the request a little:

    - Increase the summon time to 40 seconds (so it semi-syncs with the other buff rotations, just double the duration time) since the summon always starts at your location, every 20 seconds, it loses 5 seconds of it's duration every single summon running towards enemies, and make this morph be able to cast without a target needed. Right now this morph still needs a target to summon, which is stupid. The other morph (teleport one) doesn't require a target, why does this morph need it?

    - Make the damage it does AoE -only-, so no more single target damage, only AoE -and- increase the dps[/b]. The 600 single target dps is absurdly low in PvE. The dps needs to be doubled even when AoE only.

    - When the summon is resummoned or at the end of it's summoning time, it heals the caster for a set amount of health, based on the duration of the total summoning time, since it is a shadow image of you, you get a part of the summons health back. NB's still lack a flash self heal which is not health based but damage based, this would be a great idea!

    - Change it so the attacks of the summon are considered direct magic attacks by the summoner and can trigger proc sets and / or other things. Since this is a shadow image of your character, it's attacks are you own, unlike other pets which are separate entities from the summoner.

    - Fix it so it does NOT teleport back to it's summoning location after each kill.
