I can't deal with this event, could of got my 3rd feather easily, except everyday since the event has been trying i've been trying so hard to get into a random dungeon, every time it just glitches out, I've had to of hit "join queue" like 80 times by now.

I think that's been a common misconception. Don't feel bad! You only need the random dungeon from DF to get the mystery boxes. Luckily, you'll get 3 tickets per day and with the adjusted reset time, you should be able to get today still! Depending on your online availability, there's definitely still time to earn 10 tickets before this event is over. Adjusted compared to first event where event tickets were on a 20 hour timer thus making it a giant pain to remember. They made it a standard, global reset this time, which is much appreciated, especially for people running multiple characters through randoms which takes out the guess work of "who got them yesterday and when". Boss has a pull in and a big red circle aoe attack. There is usually time to break out and get beyound the edge if you have the stamina. Or if you're strong enough, buff and heal through it. Occasionally it'll dig up some mud crab adds. The rest is melee attacks, nothing special.
Now if you have some aoe attacks and heals, and you need a little help, you can keep the goblins with you, through the crab boss, and use them as meat shields. Just be the first across the bridge to trigger the final boss or they'll get killed when the wall explodes. If they all die, you can go back for one more goblin squad.Main: Drio Azul ~ DC, Redguard, Healer/Magicka Templar ~ NA-PC

They worded it funny. They start off with the announcement that you need to run random dailies for the mystery boxes, and only then follow it up (less emphatically) with the requirements for the event tickets.

IrishRonD✭✭✭And, if you do not get your event tickets this go around, you can use the next event's tickets to get this feather, too. I forgot about the first feather, got busy, and only had 8 tickets. The second event, my first day, I got 2 tickets, and purchased my first feather. Then I got 10 more tickets for my second feather. Had some left over, and got a few from this event to get my third.
You can still buy previous feathers from previous events. Hope this helps.0 -

People always skip dungeon mechanics, event or no event. There are very few dungeons where I don't skip a boss or two, and a bunch of mobs, even when running them with a group. They are designed to allow for it.

I'm not that good of a player and I didn't even pay attention to mechanics. I just dps'd him down and healed through his AOE. His 'bite' is not that bad and he was easy to take down. TBH, I had a harder time with the boss before him to get the door open to get to the final boss.PC/NA/EP ✌️1 -

On normal the FG1 final boss puts out a red circle that does good damage but will kill only the squishiest players who don't block it. As said above though, the same mechanic on vet is likely a one shot to any (except the tank) inside the circle. My recommendation is to develop the ability to get out of that circle in normal so you are comfortable doing so if/when you run FG1 on vet. I find dodge roll to be the most reliable exit as soon as the circle appears around the boss - even on my magic chars. Even though the tank will want to try and hold the boss in position and likely remain within the circle, blocking when the circle goes off is a really good idea of course.Edited by AcadianPaladin on December 3, 2018 2:30AMPC NA(no Steam), PvE, mostly solo0 -

Though relatively easy.. but too much work. Just get a group of guildies with a lowbie. There is always a lowbie (10-20 level) needing to get in. Have the lowbie queue random. Now, you have 4 peeps in a lowbie dungeon; burn through the dungeon as fast as burning through a bag of gummie bears and get both the tickets and box.
