Continue to play because we love the game....Continue to complain because we hope it will make it even better. Pretty interesting concept.

So why in the oblivion do you even play this game if everything is a problem or if everything is an obstacle that (quote) holds YOU back????

Why are you here?? Why are you complaining, why don't you make or join a guild if everything is such a big "problem" for you.

Are you such an addict to the game that you can't spend 30 minutes extra to get something you want so bad? Legit question: what's the point of playing a game you hate so much? Why would you choose to spend time doing something you don't enjoy???

If any of this here applies to you go take a break or find a therapist. it's really not okay to complain like this, let alone punish and make other players feel miserable because of your own personal problems or issues.

Personally i continue to play it, because of all the TIME ive put into the game that i can never have back. When u have already invested that much time, u will ofc continue Playing until u have finished whatever goals u have in the game.

    That's an interesting analogy.

Most people die on Everest from complications associated with altitude sickness, including physiological issues like HACE and HAPE, and accidents resulting from diminished cognitive capacity.

For most of these is a fundamental phenomenon where climbers push on long after they should have turned back. In some instances equipment fails, oxygen is depleted. Uniquely, in the past couple decades popularity of summits on Everest have added to the risk of failed summit bids because of long queues at the Second Step (North Face) and Hillary Step (South Face); thus, exacerbating aforementioned issues.

Some similarities can be drawn with ESO, but I don't think they're the ones you intended.

If all of us who complained or criticized this game left...the Servers would of been shut down in Year1.

We stick around because of what this game Could be...it Has all the Potential...We want it to succeed so we continue to support it in the hopes it will one day live up to it

Sadly doesn’t seem like the money that’s going into the game is being invested back into the game

Sure we all get frustrated for one reason or the next, but some of us clearly handle it better then others and decide not to s**t post on the forms about it looking for others to agree with so they can all s**t post together and make one long thread of never ending mind numbing complaints about what ever n00b in random dungeons ticked them off today or how PVE content is meaningless and stupid or how terrible ZOS is, yet they all still play the game! I guess ZOS is so good they can keep people that hate their game playing!

I've felt this way ever since I started reading the forums, people will complain about anything and everything. It's quite sad because in the end this is a game and people play to have fun or escape their real lives for a bit, who wants to listen to your ranting and raving? Bottom line is that this is a community and you either respect others or you don't.

Because ESO has so much potential.

Despite being frustrated by the many bugs and server issues, I keep playing it with the hope that ZOS will allow it to reach its full potential one day.

    This.

I absolutely hate the way ESO is currently being managed, and have simply elected to not continue playing it until something changes, instead moving on to a different game.

Does that mean I hate ESO in itself? No. Even though I hate what it has become, and hate the way Zenimax is treating (neglecting) it, I still love ESO. It is still an incredibly fun game, with rich and diverse lore backing it, but unfortunately it has some fundamental issues in how it is being managed (namely with regards to performance, stability, and combat balance).

I still hold a sliver of hope that Zenimax can turn this dumpster fire around, which is why I'm still keeping tabs on it, even though I am not playing it at all.

But tbh the real issue is that there's no tanking/healing/dps check for group finder. I don't mind what races people are or what gears they have on my team. as long as they meet the basic bar for the current dungeon, I'm totally ok with sharing dungeon mechanics and practicing the fight for multiple times. guess what the real frustration is? it's when you know it's almost impossible to finish the dungeon because of some people on your team who don't have enough stats (tanking/healing/dps). I think suggesting ZoS to add stats checking for group finder would be more constructive than complaining on other people's complaining.

Go play SWTOR for a year then come back here and tell us how bad this game is.

Never said the game was bad, learn to read and stop assuming. I'm talking to a specific group of people.

Not to mention that if you let this go, we'll be on the level of swtor in a matter of couple years. You want that?

I think that was a response to the people you're talking about in your OP, not at you.

Well, I only complain about games when I care about them.
When I don't care, I simply log off and uninstall. Like SWTOR. Like AION. Like Rift. Like Defiance. Like Rappelz. Like Silkroad. Like ArcheAge. Like WoW. I never really bothered to complain about those - one day I simply stopped logging in and never looked back.

That said, the kvetching is indeed becoming quite excessive lately. Particularly, complaints about maintenance. It's not like the game is going away tomorrow, so why do people always need to complain about inevitable downtime? Hurrying somewhere, or what?
Could the maintenance happen less often? Yes. Could it be shorter? Totally! But, is there any point in complaining about it? No. It's a fact of life. It's here to stay. It can't be removed without rebuilding the entire game from the grounds up, and that's not gonna happen. Let's complain about things that actually can be changed.

ZOS is a business, ESO is a service, I am a customer. Complaining is a perfectly rational and natural part of any business relationship. I find it strange when people don't criticize and complain. None of this is personal. I bear no animus against the developers, but will continue to sharply criticize their work if and when I see fit.

    Millennials and entitlement... horrible combo....

How old do you reckon these “millennials” are?

The most entitled generation is the Baby Boomer generation. The “Greatest Generation” handed them everything on a platter and they still managed to let it get fubar.

This has nothing to do with millennials. “I want to talk to your manager” and “I deserve a discount/compensation or else you should be fired” is all Baby Boomers.

That generation expects full service everywhere. Self service and troubleshooting is anathema to them.

This is such a weak ploy as well. Millennials are literally over 30 years old do you even know what the words you use even mean?

The more one uses the buzzword “millennials” the more one sounds like they buy into every bridge on Facebook.

You do realise complainers make it from a place of love, love is turned into disappointment as zos keeps remains silent ignoring feedbacks, making old bug reappear, make maintenance during weekends, make update go live with major bugs, not managing old issues, like amateurs would do
