Stam Sorc PVP Vampire Troll King Set help

I have one character and run 95% PVE which means I run as a vampire for the regen. In PVP im Redguard and want to run Seventh Legion, Briarheart, DW and Masters Greatsword, as for the monster set I want to run Troll King. Some of these sets and skills i will use in PVP proc health regen (Troll King), If i am using the the unnatural Resistance passive, and reduce to Vampire level 2 will that balance out the health regen determent back to 0%, ie I will get full benefit of the Troll King Proc?

For unnatural resistance passive you need to be vamp stage 3 or higher. So if you reduce to 2 it will no longer apply. You shouldn’t need the extra sustain on Stam sorc. If you’re running briar heart and seventh legion that should be plenty of wpn damage and you should be able to use the serpent mundus and/or some regen glyphs on jewelry and/or a stamina absorb enchant on your weapon. Imo don’t use vampire, especially not on a stamina toon and especially not if you’re going to be a stage 2 and don’t get the resistance passive. Don’t forget you take a ton of extra damage from dawnbreaker and fighters guild skills.

I should have explained better, I run vampire for PVE as i min max as a dd (the regen is for PVE), I use the same character for PVP, It is too much hastle to cure vampire everytime i want to go to do BG etc. Ideally I would be mortal, but I am looking for the most efficient way to be a vampire and run Troll king, I understand that the FIghters guild abilities cant be mitigated, but in theory at level two vampire with the Unnatural passives I should get maximum benefit from the health regen (as if I was a mortal)?

I understand that it would be better to have a stand alone character, but Im trying to get all achievements and whilst I am flitting between PVE and PVP need a compromise on the character.

Probably bc of bar space issues. I'm having trouble fitting surge as well since overload is gone.

I would say test it out and see how it works for you. I have a Stam Sorc Orc who is a vamp lvl 3 and uses Troll King and I get 2.5k health regen when it procs. I use the Steed mundus as well.

At stage2 with the unnatural resistance passive your health regen will be reduced by 0% so that is doable. You will of course be impacted by fire damage (so i would recommend switching to stage1) and well FG skills (nothing to do with that if you have to stay vampire for pve)

Troll king won't help a squishy char, it does nothing to protect against burst. It's good for fighting against dot builds or when your tanky enough to stay in the fight longer, or when escaping to heal a bit and get back in the fight.

If you want a high burst char and using vampire then bloodspawn or a damage monster set will be your best option, especially in bgs.

As a vampire you will take more fire dmg. A lot of magicka chars do fire damage. And you will take more damage from dawnbreaker, probably the most used ult in pvp and as vampire troll king will just give less regen so overall I don't see it helping you too much.

The build so far is -

Heavy chest, legs seventh legion impen prismatic enchant
Medium briarheart, gloves, belt, boots, impen prismatic enchant

Seventh legion jewels, weapon damage, swift

Briar heart dw axes nirn and infused poison and shock enchant

Masters greatsword infused with weapon damage enchant

Medium monster set impen prismatic ??????

I have been trying to work out what monster set would compliment the rest of the build I was erring towards troll king, but I realise it's not going to protect being burst down, the 4 I had short listed were troll king, bloodspawn for defensive or balorgh, valkyn skoria for offensive.

Which of those sets compliments the rest of the build better? I am open to another set that I have not mentioned if it works better

Use bloodspawn. You have enough passive healing with crit surge, rally, seventh and briarheart. Vigor when approaching 50% health and be aware of your briarheart cooldown and you end up really tanky.
