For pve its going to work for quests, but in a dungeon if a boss attacks you most of the time its not going to out heal its damage. I dont know about pvp, but i would imagine players are going to hit too much for it to work. Plus they will be stunning you alot so getting hits off with siphoning strikes will be harder.
If you want to survive a boss i find that cripple plus agony with a bow is extremely good for surviving boss agro. Ive managed several times to solo a boss after the rest of the group died. I definently have a better time with siphoning strikes when im using a bow even if its slower hitting you wont be taking as much damage so the healing doesnt need to be as high.

I guess you could try heavy armor. I havent tried it out with all the healing abilities, but the extra survivability might be enough to make the healing work. You would probably just be a tank at that point though. Heavy armor has a passive where it heals more when it wears more heavy armor pieces. It sounds pretty appealing to a self healing spec. I kinda want to try it out myself now that I think about it more, if you played world of warcraft and ever faced a blood death knight you would know what im talking about.blaster117 wrote: »xxslam48xxb14_ESO wrote: »I tried something similiar and I feel it just doesnt heal enough to be useful. Is there any way I can fix up these problems with my setup without scrapping my dual wield? I have been getting up my smithing, not my woodworking so switching weapons kind of puts me off. Is there perhaps some hybrid approach I could take?
