Battle royale mode!! Or something else new and different for Pvp!!

I think a battle royale mode would be fun and have buffs like in vma on the map you could pick up. Or just something new to pvp not that pvp is bad right now I love battle grounds, ciridil is cool but I hate the distance you have to travel sometimes it’s awesome when you get a Zerg vs Zerg going though. But I mostly play battlegrounds for the faster pace and constant fighting. Maybe a gladiator arena would be cool also where you could que for duels in a badass looking area and like in gladiator events have Pve aspects that you have to deal with while you are trying to kill your enemy.

I picture Battle royale like this, one giant stadium, everyman for himself, last man standing wins! That would be fun. Start with a 50 players, lat one to die wins

No . Just going to have annoying heal/cc root spam bots that are Unkillable. This game isn’t balanced around battle royal and these requests are annoying. Go play fortnite if you enjoy battle royal so much.

Mentioning bots gives me a better idea. Open PvP season on bot characters! Let the players deal with the problem directly!

Much more fun than Battle Royale (with cheese).

Oh god no.

Fix the performance issues in Cyrodiil and BGs, that's really what we need. If we get a new pvp mode, id love to see some sort of 3v3 or 4v4 TDM arena mode with some sort of ranking system.

A nice easy fix to make Cyrodiil a bit easier to navigate would be to add something like minor gallop to battle spirit. would make it easier to traverse the terrain and make it feel less like horse riding simulator.

I used to enjoy battlegrounds...but now they've turned into a mini zerg ball group just throwing down AoE's with you rooted/snared in them with a healbot...it used to be a place to escape that stuff in Cyrodiil.

I can't see a battle royal mode being anything but sorcs with two pets throwing down atro, or unkillable tanks circling each other until a time limit runs out or one quits...

In other words, in order for something like this to work, PvP would have to be balanced...and it's just not. Same reason you can't look at PvP in ESO to be competitive.
Look at duel tournaments and all the things they have to agree to use/not use just to be a level playing field. Why? Because PvP in this game is inherently unbalanced.

The Battle Royale genre is oversaturated as it is, and will be going on a nosedive in the near future.

And it doesn't actually mesh with ESO. The gameplay is completely different.

Honestly I like the idea of a gladiator area like a small scale last man standing 10 players with monsters coming in you as well.

Maybe the battle royale is a touchy subject I guess 😂 but I think something new and fresh in pvp they add I’ve content often and pvp doesn’t get much.

Battle Royale is a fun PvP type of game but it is a bad idea for all games to try to be like that.

Since BGs had to be added to the base game to be successful there is no reason for Zos to think Battle Royal would monetize well either. Basically it is very doubtful Zos has a reason to add such a mode.

Whilst I'm not bothered either way, a battle royale mode would be very easy for the development team to implement. They could even use a new instance of the existing cyro map with a ring of molag kena style lightening getting smaller and smaller. A new leaderboard with weekly rewards

They might as well jump on the bandwagon if it keeps some people happy and sells some more copies/subs, and dance emotes in the crown store

No thank you, I got PUBG which has its issues but still would trounce anything to utter oblivion that ZoS could come up with, their laughable destruction from bridges to mimic the Battlefield games proves that.

They can't even make BGs and regular Cyrodiil open world PvP to work properly. Why introduce new things that will be just as buggy? If they ever (and I don't believe they will) fix loading screens + server performance + sprint bug + combat bug + rendering issues + handle entire guilds using exploits in PvP then sure it'd be great to start playing a new game mode. As it is I will just play other games instead of ESO's PvP.

For Jyggalag's sakes! Why is it that in every game that is remotely popular, or at least has a following, there is always one person going "MAY WE HAF BATEL ROYALY MODE!?". Insulting way of saying it inserted on purpose because Hells take you.

Every game I've seen now has forced a Battle Royally mode in to it. Dying Light, Black Ops, Battlerite, I think even Paladins. It's a phase, nothing more, a fad that will fade away in a few years or so, substituted by another very popular thing.

Look it's cute that you like your Fortnites and all that (Honestly I don't get the big buzz in it, but whatever), so just go play Fortnite instead. Stop trying to cram unwanted game modes in to games that have no need for them.

Ready for it?.......Fix the Lag. Thats it. Simple but brilliant. Nothing causes more univerasal frustration then lag.

Cute rant buddy but part of the title was or anything else new and cool they could bring to pvp. The idea of a duel arena you can que for would be cool. Or a small scale free for all of like 10 players could be cool especially if there was deadly Npcs to have to work around.
