I think you will HAVE to use the group finder so I’m guessing no, which sucks. Mystery boxes should just drop from group dungeon boss regardless. That way both solo players and those who group can enjoy the event.

Honestly my "hype" for this event is dismal. I'll be doing the dungeons for my event tickets, but I don't feel that I or any other loner should be forced to queue and group with others to be eligible for the main prizes of the event. Count me out of that end.

To clarify:

You can get tickets from any final boss of any dungeon. Even if you run into FG1 solo.

You can only get mystery boxes from the Group Finder random dungeons.

So if Group Finder messes up during the event (let's be real - it will happen at some point) it's gonna be a bad day for boxes.

Not excited for anything that drops in the boxes. Unless they significantly changed what was in there. It's just more pets, mounts, costumes and things I either already have, don't want or dont need.

I plan on soloing nFG for the event tickets and will see how much I do after that depending on what us in the boxes.
