Is it dead? Just returned to the game but can't find any groups there?

If you queue as a dps it can take a long time as the majority of players queuing are dps.

Healers and especially tanks get groups quite quickly.

Works very well now and groups have easier time finishing content with limits on which dungeons can be pulled at certain levels.

I suggest joining a guild for groups.

Works for me as both a Healer and DPS, whether I’m queuing for a Normal or Veteran random or pledge dungeon. I can’t speak to instances outside of that, however, because I don’t use PUGs except in those cases.

Depends what you call dead, 20 minute - 2 hour queue times for DPS because they insist on clinging to Tank / 2DPS / Healer setups.

Totally depends on: your server and platform, time of day, your role and the activity you queue up for.

The setups is correct, if you want you can play as fake tank or healer and to be ignored from everyone for at least 1 year.
Wrong is the final loot because it fails to attract players + experts, players with 810 CP do not care about the xp, and the loot is completely useless,
I think they should point to a final loot that involves a gear improvement, for all DLC dungeons veteran a random golden items (tannis, temper, etc) for improving your gear and +20 transmute crystal for other veteran dungeons.
For the normal dungeons its fine the loot.

Looking at the time you posted at 2:21 am PST I’m going to say lack of available tanks in the middle of the night is the problem.

Just like every MMO out there, if you want fast groups then play a tank or healer.
"And it's important to state that our decision to go with subscriptions is not a referendum on online game revenue models. F2P, B2P, etc. are valid, proven business models - but subscription is the one that fits ESO the best, given our commitment to freedom of gameplay, quality and long-term content delivery. Plus, players will appreciate not having to worry about being "monetized" in the middle of playing the game, which is definitely a problem that is cropping up more and more in online gaming these days. The fact that the word "monetized" exists points to the heart of the issue for us: We don't want the player to worry about which parts of the game to pay for - with our system, they get it all."

I play some others MMO and i find tank play until 3 am, this not coz players was crazy but because the loot was much better and everyone do more then 1 dungeons with the main +alts.
Zenimax have been always too much focused on the single quest, and they never wondered what the number of players who participate in group events, this is the real sad truth

Its simply a lack of tanks...which is exacerbated by the fact all groups MUST have one according to group finder logic. People should simply be given the option when queuing whether they want to be in a group with a tank/healer or not. This would ensure that dungeons that need tanks and/or healers will end up with one, while those pathetic excuses for dungeons like vVoM will make do with 4 DPS

Well I stopped doing undaunted dungeons so I am one person who thinks the old content is too easy, and repetitve, the new content is too hard (vet), and the people who PUG are just toxic *** who are inconsiderate, selfish, ***, who think I queued to make their gameplay easier. Basically dungeons are not very enjoyable anymore, and that's why less people are running them.

Tanks get instant queues. Healers get fast queues. DPS gets very slow queues. It is just representative of the player base.

Dungeon Finder is interesting, not dead.

Yesterday, I had a crazy ideal and decided to log into a character I never play ( stam sorc ) then que for a random Vet dungeon.

I'm sure everyone knows the final result, but for entertainment purposes this is how it went.

    1. Qued for dungeon
    2. Entered into Moon Hunter Vet Dungeon
    3. Asked my guild to pray for me, and they said everything will be fine
    4. Healer quit before we got started
    5. Player says, "Lets go to 1st boss then wait for healer"
    6. We get wiped before getting to the boss
    7. Everyone leaves

This, also it depend who dungeon you queue for, pledge dungeons are most popular, vet dungeons has shorter DD queues as you have more healer and tank builds here.
back then I did random normals it tend to be 12-15 minutes for it. Pledge vet is shorter even if just the two standards.
Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

LOL, yes pugs and vet dlc tend to end badly, most successful runs has been groups who did the easier dungeons and found we should try the vet dlc. Has some exceptions.
However most pugs don't want to face lots of wipes then people leaves. Guild runs and none want to chicken, just bring on more 200 packs of repair kits and soul gems.
