MOUNTED HARVESTING
- Upon completion of the Morrowind chapter Main Quest line, you are given a quest to speak with Sotha Sil who grants you a special non-combat pet, the Dwermer Harvester. When the player has the Dwermer Harvester selected as their current non-combat pet, approaching a harvesting node on your horse and choosing to harvest will NOT dismount your character. Instead, the Dwermer Harvester will run up to the node and harvest the resource for you.

REMOTE REPEATABLE QUESTS
- Upon completion of the Summerset chapter Main Quest line, you are given a quest to speak with the head of the Psijic Order who grants you a fully functional Psijic Scrying Talisman. This talisman allows the player access to a new section in their quest log: Repeatable Quests. The quests in this section are not quests that are currently active. Rather, it contains any repeatable quest that the player has previously completed. If the player has not completed a repeatable quest for the first time yet, it will not appear in this section. However, after the quest has been completed once, it will remain in the Repeatable Quests section. If it is a daily quest, it will disappear after completion until it becomes available again the next day.

- In order to activate a repeatable quest from the quest log, the player selects it and presses the keybind for "Accept Repeatable." This pulls the player out of the quest log and opens a Psijic Scrying Portal, allowing them to interact directly with the quest giver and accept the quest through the same means you would if you were physically standing in front of the quest giver.

- After completion, with that quest actively selected in the quest log, the same keybind that accepted the quest can be used to turn in the quest by once again opening a Psijic Scrying Portal to the quest giver and following the same dialogue you would normally follow.

I offered a perfectly immersive solution to mounted harvesting. Did you read the OP or just respond to the title?

@dpencil1 ofc I read it and as I kept saying...there are far more pressing matter than this...im still pestering ZoS to add the god damn animal skinning to get scraps cuz that would literally but the grave stake into botting since right now they train cuz only 1 needs to kill and rest afk loot...while every single other profession has nodes why clothing must be 1/2? cuz sure silks u get from nodes but pelts you get from looting animals with no interactions? seriously cmon!!!!

At the risk of letting this thread derail further, I must say it doesn't seem like your comments here are really relevant to the OP.

    1. You said the idea of mounted harvesting wasn't immersive, seemingly insinuating that it would be difficult to physically harvest something from a house irl. This fails to appreciate the dwermer harvester specifically suggested to provide a resolution to this problem.

    2. You say there are other things that are more important for the devs to be focusing on. I never claimed this was a pressing issue that deserved to be prioritized above other things. It's a couple ideas I had that I felt like sharing. If the devs like them they can think on them at their leisure. Most likely they'll just get buried in the forum archives, never to be taken seriously anyway.

    3. The example you give of something that is more pressing is not a very good one. Sure bots are annoying, but server performance and game balance are worlds more important. This is not a thread intended for people to rant about their personal pet pieves. If you have relevant comments specific to the suggested ideas in the OP, those would certainly be welcome.

The one thing I've always wanted is a story quest repeat mode. I am all for that. I'd just add a section in your quests or collections menu that allows you to retake the story quest upon completion of the quest chain. Even if it was for no XP and just for the player to enjoy once again.

    That's a nice idea @Lady_Sleepless
That would be a great reward for completing Cadwell's Gold. They could just use the same Cadwell's page for you to choose to restart any of the alliance main quests or the main story quest. The whole premise of the Cadwell stuff falls right in line with story replayability.

As a general rule, specific system proposals originating on the forum (or the Internet in general) are not considered for implementation. There are certain process boundaries that ZOS must adhere to, and several process boundaries that forum posters do not know and really can't be expected to know as general knowledge.

If ZOS (or ZOS as sponsored by Bethesda) ever offers a route for idea proposal with compensation negotiation, go for it.

But they probably won't for game systems, as I can guarantee that more than a few people will just mine the forum or Reddit and submit a proposal from one of the threads found therein. There's already some friction when internally developing new systems. No need to launch investigations into which person on the Internet really had the idea first.

So it's really not so much good idea or bad idea as it is inert idea.

I don't think there's an expectation of compensation when making suggestions on a forum, and no particular importance attached to whoever had the idea first.

Also, I don't think it's true that members of the community are unable to make a meaningful contribution to systems suggestions. I think both the Transmutation and Jewelry crafting systems are direct responses to community feedback. The exact implementation of ideas is certainly in the devs' hands, but if a community idea gets enough traction, I think it can have an impact.
