Indrik Feather - Do NOT buy the same feather!

I thought the same thing. I'd suggest being extremely careful when you buy your feather(s). Buying the wrong one really could make the difference between a short mistake or a very costly one (at least concerning time). I remember being kind of surprised that the previous feather was even available for purchase. After thinking about that for a short moment however, I realized that of course it should be available for those who came up one or two tickets short during the last event or had their ten but for some unforeseeable reason they were unable to get their green feather.

It's a dangerous situation to be in in terms of error potential (making the purchase of the 2nd feather).
It would be most excellent if there was some type of safety mechanism they could include with one of the next updates to prevent such an error from occurring entirely.
I'm sure there are multiple ways to accomplish this. You could provide a confirm action screen on each feather purchase (perhaps the most popular choice), insert multiple tabs with ones that included "Buy, Sell, Buy Back, Repair", or make just make feathers lockable entirely (my personal favorite).

Just be careful and we'll all have more feathers than we can shake at a turkey thigh. If you're not careful and do/did happen to accidentally buy the wrong one do not be discouraged. Undaunted Celebration event is next. It will all be fine, you'll be able to make up your work.

I bought mine this morning before work. I was unsure which I needed until I noticed the bank symbol on one indicating I already had that feather stored in my bank.

I almost made the same mistake. Had to relog to the toon who had my first feather and double check. I was soooo close to buying the wrong one. I am sure you are not alone op.

There could have been a little more clarity in the description. Just adding the words...the second feather ..or the first feather..would go along way to solving it

I still don't see why they won't let us put runeboxes and the like in the bank. It seems stupid to have to balance my inventory around transmute geodes and runeboxes when my bank is half empty.

every1 should use addon 'Inventory Insight' if you have multiple alts/storage chests you want to know what you have where at any time, helps tracking crap so you don't buy what you don't need

For the record I was able to purchase the correct feather and have 8 tickets

Hindsight is a wonderful thing but a suggestion maybe next time when they try something like this is they have 4 distinctly different items. As an example they could have had the brain, heart, soul, and spirit of the Indrik, and all that is needed to be said in the description is "When these four items are combined together they will create a Indrik".

I have 2 emeralds. My bad. I didn't even notice my mistake until I bought my third feather (Gilded). I have enough tickets to buy the fourth feather. If anyone has either 2 of the Onyx or Opaline feathers and would like to try a trade, my game name is Pacadoon. I'm in the Paterfamilias, High King of Valhalla, LordsOfChaos, and Army of the White-tree guilds.
