I've asked in zone chat and no one seems to know. I'm quite stumped also.
So I was using a Hunding's Rage, CP160, Sharpened Bow.. knowing now that I need an Infused Bow, I went and crafted a new, non-set Bow (since I still have 5p Hunding's equipped in non-head/shoulder slots).. the only differences are styles (original is Daedric, new one is Pyandonean), and Traits. (Sharpened vs. Infused)
Slapped the same enchant (Weapon Damage) on the Bow, and went to equip it.. when I noticed the following:
The new Bow has..
15 less Stamina
6 less weapon damage
..and a lesser amount of weapon critical so small that the character sheet won't even round it.
How exactly is this possible?
Does an item simply being part of a set offer a tiny bonus to those stats or something? Does the Sharpened trait offer bonuses to them? I'm not understanding how two bows that are the exact same in basic stats (weapon damage and quality; both are legendary), and same enchants, are affecting my Stamina and Weapon Damage in such a way.
The only possibilities I can think of:
1. Being a set item gives a weapon/item a 0.01% increase in said stats or something.. which is doubtful.
2. The Sharpened trait has something to do with it.
3. You gain "invisible" experience with an item that causes it to give small bonuses to stats like that, individual per item, with no way to visibly see it. (Kind of like individual weapon expertise or something) But this is very, very unlikely.
Anyone have any ideas? I could understand it possibly having a difference in Weapon Damage because of the Sharpened trait, despite it having nothing to do with Weapon Damage directly, but to affect my Stamina at all? This is just odd.
