Indrik Feather Event not well thought out

So as of posting this, I currently have 2 of the feathers needed for this mount and 6 tickets saved up towards the third. There are still 6 days to go in the current CWC event which should allow me to earn another 12 tickets, yet the maximum allowed tickets you can hold is 12.
Any chance we can get the amount you can hold increased so we don't waste the tickets towards the end of the CWC event?

I guess they want you to take part in the other events too. Just be grateful we get 2 event tickets for something as simple as a Clockwork daily.

Just buy another feather. You're going to need more feathers eventually to create more nascent indriks. I really can't see why people fail to understand that.

That's not how this works, that's not how any of this works....

You do CWC dailies for the double drops, and the rest of the anniversary bonuses, such as double node drops and double boss drops. The event tickets are just a bonus for doing the 1st daily. If the anniversary bonus drops don't interest you, feel free not to do them.

As for the tickets themselves, as was pointed out, you're not supposed to grind 60 tickets in the CWC event to pay for your entire Indrik, and thereby ignoring the other events. The Indrik is a reward for participating in all of, or most of, the events and buying the feathers. The surplus tickets and the fact that you can buy feathers from past events is just a "catch up" mechanic for those who have to skip some event days.

The system is actually working as intended, you just have to get out of the mentality of seeing the necessity of grinding as many event tickets as possible - since the cap sets a hard limit on the amount you can carry at any given time.

i lost interest after the first event, where i logged in every day, did dailys , delves and wbs etc... and only recievd 5 out of the 12 feathers

who wants a stupid indrik mount anyway...

You can do as much of any event as you want to. But the Event Ticket goal is for a player to gain one Indrik item per event. You can stockpile extras up to the cap, but per their planning, they don't want anyone to get too far ahead of their schedule, or anyone to get too far behind if they miss or choose to not participate in an entire event.

The cap is fine. Because multi-step design like this requires proposals and documentation and more than a little bit of internal debate. 12 wasn't just randomly pulled out of somebody's *** to *** you off.

It's part of the design.

I have no interest whatsoever in chasing Dungeon completions in the Undaunted event soon. So the ability to over-earn sufficient tickets to cover a feature for the next event is a real relief.

I don't think anyone posting really knows if this Indrik Feather Event is well thought out. It would be more accurate to state that it has not been well explained.

To my knowledge it has not been confirmed if we can have an evolved, and unevolved Indrik on the same account simultaneously. Which means we don't know if there is any incentive to buy another feather so we won't hit the limit, and can keep collecting event tickets.

Other than the mount, there is also the sweepstakes which I read is related to the event tickets.

At this point an official statement would be ideal due to all the information/misinformation that is circulating.

What we do know:

What we should already know:
- ZOS isn't going to officially commit to five years of Indrik content because they can't personally guarantee a specific longevity of the game. We could be in the middle of the Apocalypse in 2021 and somebody would still have the audacity to bash ZOS for not releasing the next Indrik "as promised". So we're only going to see as much of the plan as is currently relevant. In this case, the four unique feathers for the Nascent Indrik.

When people unlock the Nascent, we move onto berry details. When the berries are obtained, then we move into the next phase. Anyone is free to speculate ahead at their own risk, but through the end of 2018 you only need enough tickets to obtain one of each feather. Don't worry about extras until you need to worry about extras. 40 is the 2018 goal.

I suspect part of their intention with this system is to get players to try all the different kinds of special events ESO has, so they don't want it to be possible to get loads of extra tickets from one event, otherwise people could skip the later ones and that defeats the point of the system.

It's an extra incentive for doing a daily on multiple days, not another reward you can grind until you're burned out and then stop doing completely.

Although personally I'm already glad I don't need to do the daily every day of the event, as I'd much rather spend my time doing things which are actually fun instead of racing other players to the random node of the day when I could be doing the exact same dailies any other time of the year for the exact same rewards (except the tickets) without the unnecessary competition.

I'm grateful for the opportunity to acquire another 12 tickets during the clockwork city event after purchasing the gilded feather due to being unable to participate in the Undaunted event. I suspect it's also to accommodate people who couldn't participate in the Witches festival; it seems a convoluted or elaborate way with redundant tickets here or there and then ten ticket constraint but it does help people who can't play consistently.

I can save my additional 12 tickets and purchase the next feather during last day of the Undaunted event.

I also won't be playing the Undaunted event so the availability of feathers beyond the minimum required is also useful to me.

Not everyone can do all the dailies for a given event.
It's a good catchup for those that haven't gotten every single ticket available.

Imagine if they only gave 10 tickets per event and you missed one or two days...you'll never get the mount.

It's a good system. If you've gotten your feathers then don't worry about going over 12. You're still ahead of the game here.

I am baffled at the amount of complaints on this. They set a cap at the amount of event tickets so you HAVE to participate in other events if you want more. They don't want you to stock pile tickets from a couple of events and skip another because you want to.

Plus, all these events are happening around the end of the year where a bunch of holidays AND game are released. How else do you keep your audience at least coming back once a day? Create events with rewards where you have to stretch and participate in them over the months.

In the first event you had to kill one of the bosses and do enough damage to get credit for it. If you go to places like dolmens and WBs this can be very difficult to do which made it harder to get the tickets unless you did multiple bosses. Most people did multiple bosses for the skulls so it was not a problem.

This event. the tickets are pretty easy to get. Get the WB quest in CWC, go to WB, wait for it to spawn, hit it with a spammable, do the other part of the quest, go turn it in, get 2 tickets. Takes about 10 or 15 minutes depending on where you are at on the spawn timer for the WB.

I wouldnt do any more than the first quest to get my event tickets. Anything you want out of CWC loot rewards will be on traders for a song and it is far easier to make gold elsewhere and buy them on the cheap than it is to compete with dozens of people for quests completions.

Personally I'd rather have to run around with lots of people looking for quest items then be the only one in the zone feeling like I'm playing a solo game.

Are people forgetting the "M" in MMO ?

It's in the game already. Look at your mounts in the collections dialogue. At the bottom there are two Indriks showing as not collected.

the tickets and the feathers work for the account so when you'll buy the indrik you'll be able to use it with all your characters. i bought yesterday my second Feather, i didnt knew there was different colors of feathers, i had a green Feather from the witch festival, so i assumed that there was a green indrik or a gold indrik. then i bought a second green Feather to later learn that no, there is 4 different color feathers for 4 different events. since the feathers are account related , how is it even possible to buy the same Feather twice. shouldnt my account tell me that i already have this Feather. i send a ticket to ask for a Feather exchange, but no reply so far . i feel i have been duped. i know its my mistake but still.

I did the dailies twice and then haven't been back. They're so fast and easy but I really dislike that zone enough that I can't talk myself into continuing them.

Witch's Festival - 1 ticket a day - 14 Tickets
Clock Work City - 2 Tickets a day - 24 Tickets
Undaunted - 3 Tickets a day - 21 Tickets
New Life - 1 Ticket a day - 21 Tickets

You can get 80 tickets total during the Indrik event.

That would be 4 Indrik Mounts. You combine 4 feathers, and get an Indrik. Keep the 3 of each of the other feathers in your bank until you morph the first Indrik. Then combine another, morph that one. Repeat until you have 4 out of the 5 varieties of Indrik Mounts.

If these becomes Runboxes when combined, I plan to make a fortune selling them later next year.
