Why does my mount on a certain character have infinite stamina?

Noticed this running Cyrodiil this weekend. I run 3 characters there: a Breton magplar (horse), Altmer magsorc (Psijic senche), or Nord stamplar (Ice wolf). Both magicka characters when sprinting mounted, experience a cost in mount stamina, whereas on the stamplar I've noticed that mount stamina never runs out. Can someone explain this?
