Could someone explain me how 'Twitch Drops' work?

Hey everyone.

I've never been a big fan of Twitch, so I pretty much avoided it until this whole 'Twitch Drops' things showed up this month. I decided to give it a shot and received it one crate the first time I tried it. I've tried it again two more times, respected the proper timezone and watched and followed several streamers connected to ESO. Nothing has popped up ever since. I even tried to contact Support about it, but their response was vague and unconvincing. I tried to press it on and they brought stuff about October that didn't make sense since I wasn't even playing earlier in that month.

How do these work? Is it just a "chance" whenever someone tunes in? Is it a given? Is my account glitched? Am I doing something wrong?

ZOS nerfed twitch drops to ground not so long ago.
So if you watch any stream with drops activated AND RNG smiles to you, you get the drop.
    But mostly - not.

I haven't got any twitch drops for 3 weeks (6 or 7 days of twitch drops, incl guaranteed drops but ZOS cheated) before today.
So your chances are like 15-25% I guess

At first you will get drops and then you get cut off. I only get drops on Bethesda streams now.

How do you find the streams that drop?

They tend to have schedules written out... Either certain streamers, or anyone streaming ESO, or just the developers. It differs.

..but sometimes even the guaranteed drops don't drop.
May or may not be speaking from experience.
if I could make another character, their name would be Cries-For-Character-Slots. AKA, I need more.

    For Example, news says:

"On the following days, tune into any channel streaming ESO for at least 10 minutes for a chance to receive a Drop each day:"

"Clockwork City Celebration: November 16 at 3:00pm GMT through November 19 at 3:00am GMT
Drops will go out each day at 3:00pm GMT starting on November 17"

    So you think, oh goody.

Watch several different streamers over the entire event, around 9+ hours per day on an off, minimum time spent in a stream would be around 30-40 mins.

Not one drop. so yeah, "chance" means "no chance" in all honesty.

Eventually you just stop bothering with anything except the actual Bethesda streams as they 'usually' guarantee a drop (as mentioned above).

I got one crate this time around, about 8 gems... Considering I just opened twitch on my old phone, plugged it in and let the stream run essentially afk, no harm no foul.

But yeah, you need to watch the stream, link your accounts, AND hope you are "selected" for a drop.

May the RNG be ever in your favor!

Last twitch drop window which was started november 16th. So far ZERO drop. Plus incompetent changes to the shedule and most likely i will not get any drop for this month. So its just another trash from greedy company - thats all you need to know about zostwitchnodrops

You have to watch a stream that has them enabled for at least 10 minutes and then you have a CHANCE to get them. You must link your twitch account with ESO.

I usually just put the streams on while I play, and since they started I got 3 crates with absolutely nothing of value (except gems), but considering how many hours I've probably had twitch on with different streams it doesn't seem like much.
Apparently you are suppose to be guaranteed a drop from a Bethesda/ESO streams.....even though I watched the entire stream of their last one I didn't receive anything.
    PC/NA
Moved onto BDO and GW2 Skyrim, ATS/ETS2, ACNH and the overall goodness of single player games

That's exactly what I've been doing. I even spent these last few days attending to two hours a day in the afternoon and evening. And nothing. I might just take what other people said and only bother with official streams from now on.

It’s already at an awkward time of day when I have to usually work so if there isn’t a guaranteed chance of getting a crate then the risk is greater than the reward so no point to this really I guess.

Basically you watch an ESO twitch stream for ten minutes and then you get crap potions and then console players come on the forums and whine about not getting crap potions

If you twitch too hard, you drop things.
