Game is so laggy

Even when you try and exit the application, or hold down your ps button to power off your playstation, it will take a few minutes for it to allow you to power off your system, jesus christ!

    I'm on ps4 and I definitely don't have this problem. Maybe you need to rebuild your database? Sometimes crap gets all wonky after large game updates, installments, or system updates. Worth a try at least because that sounds really annoying haha

    Well this the only game that makes my system act up, every other game, I can smoothly go back into my main system menu, and be able to view other applications, sometimes I can smoothly back out of the elder scrolls application, and hit the ps button to bring up the application again, but the lag tends to happen a lot more when I'm in pvp near a huge battle, sometimes I can't even close the application or turn off the system when it gets so laggy from a big battle, or being near a keep.

    I've noticed a decrease in performance lately myself.

    I've had to downgrade my graphics considerably to compensate.

    nothing is working properly, this game is dead (ps4 eu). Do not put more money in it and move on ... sorry

    It seems to be a general problem.

    I have been having a lot of lag (both skill and general), 999+ ping spikes (that, sometimes, last a long time) and frequent screen freezes and DCs.

    Sometimes, my screen will freeze, I will log off and back on again and find myself back in the game with a frozen screen and only then, will the game finally crash.

    So, I have to log back on twice...

    Some of the sudden DCs are after a period of very high ping and some seem to come out of nowhere.

    I'm on PC.

    I'm talking about when there are no other issues with the internet at my end, as well, obviously - I don't count ZOS responsible for those.

    I think these companies tend to set the max number of people allowed on a server, at one time, a little too high?

    So, when it's busy, there are inevitably more issues.

    I have (and play) ESO on both PS4 and PC. I also do not have these issues in PvE, instanced or otherwise. I don't PvP so I can't say anything about it. I don't lag at all unless I have a download going on while I'm playing, and I don't have a "super-rig" either.

    Queue the "ZOS apologist" commentary in 3.... 2...
