    Well, they can come close to balance then screw it all up then come close but given the way things are there isn't much in the way of balance that can be done in an MMO such as this. They can try but when they do they mess up builds that players have spent lots of time or money on. There will always be those that will complain, Still, I think it would make the races more interesting having some of the ultimate abilities based on the abilities they had in the other elder scrolls titles. As for Balance that is up to them. They can come close, but the thing is well no one will ever be completely satisfied by it, we are all really diverse human beings with our own opinions and belief's on what balance is that's just how it is. *Shrugs*

    Well I copied this off of an older thread. They looked something like this. This was how they were in beta at the time they didn't have imperials.

    They were removed early in development.

    As it is there are no race skills so there should not be any race ultimates. Zos already had big challenges balancing everything else in the game. It is a short sighted thought to make it more challenging.

    I voted other because I don't really care one way or the other. I don't really see it happening but it wouldn't bother me if they tried to do something like that.

    I'm more interested in and/or hopeful for having different 'morphs' of redesigned racial skills... magicka or stamina options, perhaps, so you don't feel like you're missing out by playing a role off the race "meta".

    Here are some simple suggestions
    All should cost the same ultimate to simplify things and make it easier to balance
    Most of these ideas are from the racial skills in skyrim.

    Argonian: Heal for X every second for Y seconds.
    Dark Elf: Deal X Fire damage every second in a Y meter radius for Z seconds.
    Nord: Fears all enemies in a X meter radius for Y seconds. Depending on ult cost can apply Maim for a few seconds too.

    Breton: Mitigate X% of damage taken for Y seconds. Absorb Z Magicka for each direct spell damage taken and Z Stamina for
    each direct physical damage taken.
    Orc: Mitigate X% of damage taken, increase damage done by X% for Z seconds.
    Redguard: Increase stamina regeneration by X% for Y seconds and/or decrease stamina cost by Z% for Y seconds.

    High Elf: Increase magicka regeneration by X% for Y seconds and/or decrease magicka cost by Z% for Y seconds.
    Wood Elf: Summon X amount of (some animal) with (some stats) for Y seconds. All nearby lesser NPCs will also be turned
    into allies for Y seconds.
    Khajiit: Increase critical chance by X% and critical damage by Y% for Z seconds.

    Imperial: lol no one plays this class buff the current passives first then we'll talk

    And yes some of these may seem overpowered but remember the numbers can be adjusted depending on the effect and ultimate cost.
    Racial ultimates shouldn't need morphs, there are so many races and adding morphs will be too troublesome.

    The only way I can see them being truly balanced is if they're exactly the same, just with different visuals. I wouldn't mind that. I don't want to feel pressured to change race if one ultimate is better for my build than another.

    They have racial abilities in the other Elder Scrolls games. The racial ultimate doesn't necessarily have to be combat specific, just something that helps questing and exploring Tamriel.

    Only if they work well in-game and don't give the race a signifacant advantage over most other races in both pvp and pve. Looking at the beta ones, the ones that increase damage should be reworked. Mainly those would make certain races (aka Redguard) too good to pass up. And the Argonian one is just bad, considering a lot of lizards are vampires.

    i think that skills would work fine too tbh like armor skills. mostly a passive effect or something. like an aoe field or an armor buff, regen buffs too etc.

    Racials are idiotic OP as the game is today, they are 10 times stronger than in Morrowind and Oblivion at end game and they was single player games with an dificutly slider while ESO is competitive multiplayer.

    They was in the game in early beta, but was removed because of balance, the other stuff stayed because of soft caps.
    Then soft caps was removed.
    On the other hand, make them skills rather than ultimate, make them weaker than most class/ weapon abilities but have some utility. Bosmer can eat humanoids to regain health and stamina but this is an channeled ability, Argonians can do an clanfear tail sweep, but only an low chance of knocking enemies over. An fun signature move and has place in some builds bars like the guild skills are today.
    Grinding just make you go in circles.
    Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

    By the love of Mara ZoS has enough trouble balancing races with simple passives attached. They have no hope of successfully adding "racial ultimates" without it somehow becoming a balancing nightmare.
