lag in interacting with NPCs and objects.

Up until today I was able to have conversations and interact with things like crates, etc. Today it seems that this is impossible. Every time I press E to interact with an object or person it takes between 1-5 minutes for anything to happen. Anyone else been having this problem/know a solution?

Yeah you would have thought this would have been fixed. I never had a problem during beta or early access only when it went live but for me it is spoiling the whole game.

Yes. (Just posted a thread myself)

I started to notice it about 4 hours ago - it's got gradually worse. I suspect we will have a server crash shortly. :D
'Clever' sigs get old real fast - just like this one.

What happens afterwards? Does your game crash and with what error message if?

the game does crash with an unknown error message for me then when i log in again i am still unable to interact with objects. NPCs or even able to use a weapon
i have contacted support but so far nothing helpful they just suggested trying to reload the GUI byt typing /reloadui and logging out of the game for 15 mins by typing /camp but i am not even able to log out of the game as nothing happens after the countdown timer ends.

I'm in the same boat as you. Every time I log in and try to play nothing happens. Really sucks when all I want to do is enjoy the game but instead find I cant do anything.

Can you guys use the Game Consultant tool (have launcher open and click the cog wheel icon *upper right corner* and click about) click run tests and have the test complete and generate a report then open it and ctrl F and search for PING RESULTS and scroll down to see the ping test results

Are you noticing any request timed outs and/or any packet loss?

I just ran the test and this is what I get, I don't know what it means, I just know that this is the only game I have lag issues with. :(

Edit: Pretty much I am able to play the game but I see everyone else rubber banding and walking on place and there is a delay between my abilities, if I am in a very crowded zone I just get disconnected with the unknown error message. Some times I am able to play just fine until I move to another zone, everyone starts lagging again, this is the only game where I have lag issues this bad, I had the same issue back when GW2 launched but not anymore.

since you're going to copy and paste the results... there are more results to the ping test like the pathping results right under the "Ping test failed!" so copy and paste right before the "IPCONFIG RESULTS"

Also I should note that 2 other players I know have the same problem and we use the same ISP, so it probably it has something to do with the ISP, but I don't really know what to tell them and what's the problem.

Are you using NA or EU megaserver? I notice a very short hop list... it isn't showing more IP addresses like it should... ones showing are local addresses so the pathping results aren't even trying to reach others

Could you try the test again from the game consultant and let it finish and check to see if the hop list is bigger in the pathping results...

What solved it for me was actually an advice from ZOS:

"Looking at the tracert that you sent in we determined that it looks like the information is going through a bad route to get back to you and thus could be why you are getting the kickouts and lag spikes. To attempt to fix this please follow these steps to flush your DNS:

    Windows 7:

    Click on the Start button
Type cmd in the Start Menu
Right-click on Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator
Type "ipconfig /flushdns" and hit enter
If it was successful, you will see the message "Windows IP configuration successfully flushed the DNS Resolver Cache."
Power cycle the router to clear the cache so that it doesn't store the bad route
    "
