    It keeps the game grindy. God forbid to create a mechanic that makes the game less grindy. Imagine u'd be able to deck out on sth for a while and than only do fun activities in the game. The horrors!

    Yeah, and fun will make you happy and so you will shrug off transmute/gold/AP flow dependency and will go out playing smth else in games or IRL.
