Nope, just another event that tends to pile up players in the same location ...

Lulz we can barely get 3 full bars on Ps4 NA in PvP anymore. Maybe on a Friday night maybe.

As opposed to 5 full campaigns all the time everyday.

I fight the same groups of people constantly

@Koolio Pvp is in a very bad shape, but casual PvE content is very alive. In Vvardenfell I see much more WB quest request as 2-3 months ago.

No, the game is literally dying.

Or it's literally doing very well.

You pays your money and takes your choice.

Or waffle on the forum about cancelling your subscription.

I always see plenty of players wherever I go on PC EU.

I don't know...I always found it hard to be alone in eso, but I personally agree it's felt more lively not just because of event there is definitely more people.

I often wonder about the mental stability of individuals who don't play a game....but hand out on the forum 16+ hours a day so the can tell you to not believe your lying eyes, and the game is in fact dead.

I’ve noticed it too, and it’s not just casuals in CWC for the event. Even base game zones have higher pop than I’ve seen in awhile. PvP may be in the doldrums right now (except Army of the Pact on NA/PC Vivec during prime time), but I see plenty of players every where I go.

Feels to me like the EU PC server is choking for some reason.

I can't speak for others but I am new around here having played other mmos for the last decade+ I'm simply tired of them. I wanted to try something new. To me, ESO is a new feel in comparison to other mmos like wow or ffxiv.

Perhaps there are just a lot of people in the same boat as I am. :)

People have been saying the game is dying for years now. Since Wildstar came out. And yet this game is going strong.

Well, you don't have a queue for Vivec on PC EU in the evenings anymore.
Used to be quite long with sometime waiting time exceeding 1 hour.
Nowadays you directly login into Cyrodiil.

Last week strangly enough saw a resurgence of the queue, but it declined rather rapidly again and today there was no queue again.

Also, what is very indicative for the declining population are the time it takes for addons to be updated when a new DLC goes live and the number of build videos being released. While the former is continuously increasing, the latter is continuously decreasing.

    Nahh.. it's just you.

Ahh, just kidding. It's always packed and the map is bombarded by army ants during each anniversary event or new content/DLC. Currently, it's Clockwork City anniversary event that is happening right now until the 26th. Plus we just had the release of the latest (jacked arse) Murkmire DLC this month. Particularly with a new DLC, there are new motifs and gears and stuff. So the army ants come in force to farm the hell out of the DLC for stuff. Then, it usually dies back down in a couple to few weeks after DLC release or right after the event is over. Press repeat when the next event, DLC or chapter comes.

Seems to me to be a lot more people in Vivec most of my game-playing day now. From throngs at the crafting stations to people 3 or 4 deep at the wayshrine....

Way too many people for me mostly. I do my crafting writs on all my girls, then boogie somewhere else on whoever.

Still feels dead as a tac when i get on, trading hubs empty. Cyrodiil is not a war, more of a boxing match, dailies lfg takes forever (over 30 minutes) to pop?

So no, not more populated for me.

A lot of it is self inflicted. Player behavior in Campaigns is almost as off putting as the lag.

So many of my friends have quit PvP over the abhorrent behavior of some players.

Faction jumping, scroll stealing, infighting, keep glitching and the list goes on and on.

I have seen a lot of people in Summerset, Aarteum, all the capital cities, and zones where sought after gears drop. Not to mention the AliKr dolmen grind peeps. I play on PC-NA during prime time late into the night. Just my observation. No idea about PvP population though.
