Maintenance for the week of April 6:

It hasn't been a great experience for me, what with the stupid node competition, etc, but the I wish zos would, if nothing else, reduce the respawn timers during events. Games are supposed to be fun, and standing around waiting for things to happen is not fun. At all. Ever.

I asked for an Imperfect boss share in Zone chat (I had done the other boss for my daily) and got no response. So I asked a couple more times and some nice person finally added me and shared the quest. (Thank you!) From now on, though, I’m just doing whatever boss quest I get and quitting the zone after that — the competition for the other stuff you need for the boss killing quests is brutal.

As for node farming...that is ridiculous. I needed some mats and was happy about the double drops until I realized how few nodes were available. Anything that popped was instantly snagged by pro farmers or node campers.

My particular grievance is the sparse harvesting nodes - they are few and far between.

However, in the last few weeks, I've been collecting stuff for the crow dailies - nice, quick and easy. Crows are so easy to please! :D

This, and only this, are the worthy complaint. Ok, maybe some added lag.

In my experience, the overland crafting nodes are fine. I've farmed small zones like Hew's Bane before during events and Clockwork City is about the same. If you dont want competition, just farm somewhere else.

But the quest nodes in the mechanical fundament? That's rage inducing frustrating with how few there are and how long they take to respawn even when it isnt cutthroat competition from other daily runners. I dont know why ZOS thinks we need to compete with other players for quest resources, but its far from the only time they've done this.

The upside of everyone fighting for sparse nodes, is that there are plenty of nodes to harvest in the other zones. :)

Doubling node drops is a nice idea...until you realize that with all the competition you can just go back to your regular farming routes and more than double your pickup. And don't you just love it while you stop to kill some mechanical bug standing near a node somebody comes along and takes it. Such fun. :/

Yep. I was in Wrothgar last night and seemed to have every node to myself. It didn’t take long to get a couple hundred of each.

I had enough of the Clock Work dalies last year and only do the crow quest for the ticket. Any frustrating quests zos churns out I refuse to do.

I’m on Xbox EU and find anything to do with communication in this game extremely frustrating. How do you share a quest with someone on Xbox - is it just forming a group or is it something else? I would be very happy to share quests. Could someone please point me to an article that explains all aspects of communication with other players on Xbox? Excuse my ignorance this is the first mmo I have played - usually a solo gamer.

I was doing the cwc dailies in a guild group. I wasn’t watching zone and wasn’t looking to bring in randoms. I’m sure that’s the case for a lot of people.

I settled on just doing Shadow Cleft. It's easy, quick, and relatively painless which is definitely a help with my horrid satellite lag. I've got 8 of the 10 tickets for the feather, and I'll get some ahead too, just in case things don't go well in the future.

If you let someone else fight the guarding foes and grab the node while they are doing your fighting. . . well, I just won't do that.

Good on you for not being pathetic.

Just goes to reinforce my opinion that people in general aren't all that bright.

BRB farming twice as much from 30% of the normal number of nodes I can find.

Skip the WB and Slag Town dailies. It is a nightmare to do with 50-plus players running around like headless chickens racing to reach nodes and plaques as soon as they appear.

Crow and Apostle dailies are definitely less painful to do and won't cause premature hair loss and high blood pressure.

Seriously people, it's not that hard to do one daily in CWC and get your ticket! Do four dailies and then turn them in one day at a time and save time. It's not like you need any of the other rewards that bad! All you have to do on WB dailies is collect the junk and get one good hit on the boss before he goes down. That isn't that hard either.

Same here. I just get my tickets and leave. If I want to farm those daily quests in Clockwork City I'll do it after the event is over. One extra item from a quest isn't worth the added hassle and annoyance in my opinion.

CWC is an ugly brown eyesore, the zone sets are subpar, the furnishing plans are ridiculously rare, and it's yet another zone full of cliffs that make it so you have to travel a mile to get somewhere 500 ft away. It's like when you have to leave the suburbs to go see your insurance agent in the ghetto. Go straight there, take care of business, don't linger, and get out.

Got 4 tickets in 1 hour of gameplay (30 min 1st day, 30 min second), and i was never in CWC before. What's problem to tp to city, grab daily, ride to boss, kill, tp to city, got tickets do whatever you want from that point.

I expect it's the same for console as it is for PC. You group up with people, then go to your journal. There should be an option to share the quest when you select it.

Got to agree about the collection of "Harvester bags" .. it took me well over an hour to collect 6 today, for a quest !

Firstly they are sparce and secondly every time I got near one I was attacked by at least 3 enemies and by the time I fought them off someone had sneaked by and taken the harvest bag!! Very frustrating!

As for world bosses have killed a few but no rewards from them as too many people trying to do the same thing , managing I guess to strike the last blow

Despite all this I have got my event tickets so not all bad !

Clockwork City isn't so much fun as the Witches event, in my opinion

Pretty much have to stand in the center of the spawn point and spam AOEs to get credit when competing with 50 people for a kill. And that's with the Wraith. Whenever I get the Imperfect I log out and bring in another character until I get the Wraith again. Got no time to play who can pick up Sequence Plaques the fastest.
