Wife and I couldn't get the patch to go beyond 9 and 13% before it would crash and was only DLing at like 10kb. We don't play through Steam, we have *** which is working fine. Couldn't do it last night at 5 PM and still can't this morning. Now the download bar doesn't even show up before the patcher crashes out.

✭✭If your launcher is stalling when downloading patches, and then eventually crashing after a minute or two you are probably having the same issue I sometimes have. I don't run into this issue consistently, but when I do I take the steps I list at:

I think the issue is with how the patcher interacts with particular ISP's. According to other people in the thread I linked the patcher works fine with several 3rd party VPN connections (which would indicate the problem is with the ISP), but I can download the files successfully without a VPN using a browser (which would indicate the problem is with the patcher). I suspect that some ISP's are balking at some specific way that the patcher is trying to connect to the patch file depot.Taking stealth away from the Bosmer is like taking magic away from the Altmer, making Nords allergic to mead, or making Orcs pretty.1 -

SneastSoul ShrivenI am having this same issue I cannot log in at all . It completely freezes at or around 11%, then after about 3-4min the launcher just disappears. I tried last nite as well as this afternoon. I am NOT a STEAM player either!!! I hope to god they get this fixed by the "Clockwork City Event" or someone will be STEAMIN alright!!!0
