[Resolved] Clockwork City Event - No tickets from my daily

So I just finished my first daily and got no event tickets. The rewards were doubled already though, so that can't be it. I killed the Imperfect and while I got no item loot, I did get the platings that need to be collected for the quest and it counted the progress - that should still be alright, yes? The Slagtown coffers I got both only contained a style mat and item piece but no event tickets.

I was wondering if I am alone with this or if other people are missing event tickets too. (I'll try again with another daily later to see if I can get it from those.)

Update: Did another daily quest, still no event tickets. I am on PC EU. I hope this will be different tomorrow.

UPDATE2: Thanks to the power of math and logic, I came to the conclusion that I simply remembered the number of tickets I had wrong. Sorry for the confusion.

You have to hand in the quest to get the event ticket. Not just kill the boss.

@Thannazzar I know. I turned it in and said that even my coffers did not contain any tickets.

Tickets will come separate from coffers. Have you checked your currency tab?

Yes, I have, I had 5/12 before and now I still have 5/12. No tickets there.

I found my total tickets had gone up but the ticket icon didn't appear in my loot.

Everything appears to be working ok on our end when we checked, and others have confirmed they're getting tickets. If you tried to do it before 10am EST this morning, you would not have received anything. Also, remember these are per account, not per character.

@Ratzkifal We checked on our end and it looks like you did receive tickets. Try a /reloadui and see if that increments the number on your currency?

@ZOS_GinaBruno I relogged twice since then and reloaded my UI but it's still 5/12. Maybe it's only a display bug? Or maybe I am suffering from the Mandela effect and remember it wrong. I am pretty sure I would have noticed two pink event tickets being granted as a reward. Also I know I've kept earning event tickets during Halloween after I already bought the feather and was counting the days left because a friend of mine started doing that event a little late and we tried to figure out if he could still get 10. I'd say about 85% certain that I already had 5/12 before the start of this event.

I only did two dailies of which at least one was after 10am EST. I guess I'll update this tomorrow and see if I got tickets. Also, where are these tickets exactly? I want keep an eye out for them, so I'd be good to know if they are displayed next to the quest rewards or if they are inside the containers or nowhere at all.

I use a controller and, therefore, have the controller UI, so it may be different for you. The event tickets were really hard to see but they were there. When you turn in the daily, the two coffers showup clearly but the event tickets (at the top of rewards) get cut off and don't show completely. Because of this, they are easily missed.

Oh, I had an actual event ticket in the drops during the Witch festival. Doesn't matter if it was dolmen, delve, world boss, whatever; I always got an actual ticket there from the first drop.

I had this issue last event but fortunately, I got my event tickets on day 1 this time.

The tickets are not in a drop. When you go to hand in the quest, there is a dialog window with the quest giver. On Xbox, the first reward is a 2 next to a solid white rectangle. It does not label them as tickets, but when you complete the quest it tells you that you received tickets, as well as how many you now have. My main account had one left from the Witch's festival and the reward list showed I had 3/12.

I had the same as the Op today. I left the former event with 6 tickets, and doing 3 CW dailies didn't grant me more tickets.
I turned in the quests, opened the double crates, and nothing.

Event Tickets are the least visually interesting icon of all the currencies available in the game, so just a quick screenshot of the quest turn-in screen. Really easy to miss, especially if you were just eager to turn in the daily and move on to other activities.

I received 2 tickets on both accounts after turning in a daily. No issues.

PSA - if you were a dummy like me and didn't realize the tickets were capped at 12 still, you won't get your tickets if you were 12/12 from the last event.

Wild guess here, but you were probably auto-looting everything? You simply may not have noticed if that were the case. They were actual drop items you had to loot from the first boss you killed each day. This time around they seem to be mixed in with the quest rewards.

@Ratzkifal,
if you bought a feather in the previous event, then having 5/12 tickets confirms that you got your two tickets this morning. The maximum possible number of tickets from the Witches Festival event was 14, so you probably had 3 left over after buying a feather - no way to reach 5/12 otherwise... (unless you only got 3-5 tickets in the witches festival).
