Clockwork City Event - Fishing Doesn't Count?

All other nodes are double yield, but not fishing? Is there a reason for this?

Dunno for what reason but from the official article:
The Clockwork City Celebration Event begins on Thursday, November 15 at 10:00AM EST and will run until Monday, November 26 at 10:00AM EST. During this period, you can earn additional rewards for the following activities within the zone:

Double items harvested from crafting nodes
Including Jewelry seams, but does not include nodes spawned from Survey Reports and Fishing Holes

Double the reward boxes from completing Daily Quests

Double the drops from bosses
Including World Bosses, Delve Bosses, Trials Bosses, and Quest Bosses

Actually, I understand why on surveys. that would be a lot of mats, like 170-240 mats per survey; and that's assuming your Plentiful Harvest CP passive doesn't proc. Fishing... I agree... no idea why.

That official note is slightly odd when you consider that Clockwork City doesn't get craft surveys (as far as I know, only base game, Wrothgar, and Vvardenfell.) I'm thinking it was a copy paste from the Wrothgar event.

You're right, hadn't even thought of that. Still seems odd about fishing. Fishing nodes have been doubled during the Orsinium events haven't they? Seems I even remember a time when fishing was just bugged in Wrothgar and was giving double fish for no reason (no event).
