Friendly reminder concerning bots...

With the event promising double-node drops, you're sure to see a few bots out and about (I have!). If you feel inclined to report them, do so (maybe whisper them to confirm, just to be polite) - and then reply to the e-mail notification with any screenshots or videos you might have and let ZOS sort it out - but don't post those things here. It still violates the name-and-shame policy to name bots on the forums. Call them out in zone chat and get others aware, if you like, but this isn't the place for it.

Thanks, and Happy Gaming! ;)

You still assume that most players enjoy spending their event time reporting bots?

Maybe I will capture a ore node and refuse to respond to whispers, just to attract the police. >:)

Wut’s name and shame policy, it’s just nickname, not your parents address or credit card credentials.
Screenshot of mighty bot train is always funny and amazin’ thing to see.

    I'll keep a special watch for you, @Salvas_Aren ;)

And I'm not arguing that the name-and-shame policy makes sense for bots, but this is the world we live in. *shrug*

Don't sell yourself short - you came here and typed out a whole sentence! That's, like, 2% of AF and we're all very proud! <3

Oh the irony when you have to come here and tell everyone you don’t care. I have a feeling you are one of those public outburst kind of people.

On the topic of the original post. I used to care about reporting bots but I have slided to the side of not wasting time reporting them because of lack of apparent swiftness in dealing with them.
"And it's important to state that our decision to go with subscriptions is not a referendum on online game revenue models. F2P, B2P, etc. are valid, proven business models - but subscription is the one that fits ESO the best, given our commitment to freedom of gameplay, quality and long-term content delivery. Plus, players will appreciate not having to worry about being "monetized" in the middle of playing the game, which is definitely a problem that is cropping up more and more in online gaming these days. The fact that the word "monetized" exists points to the heart of the issue for us: We don't want the player to worry about which parts of the game to pay for - with our system, they get it all."

The irony of when you point that out and say the same thing in the same post.
