Sure if Templars can have major sorcery attached to some skill!
Just like Stam Whip this will never happen. Better off fighting a different battle.
DK already has some of the best self healing and single target pressure so the last thing they need is an execute.

The problem with petitioning for a MagDK buff is that ZOS will either:
A. Nerf MagDK damage
B. Increase the cost of our other skills
C. Nerf Sorcs
I dont think anyone wants any of these things to happen.

My mag dk wishes he could self heal like my stam sorc or any of my stam characters. Nothing but situational burst heals. No hit vigor and watch my health bar jump to 100% through damage

Or we could get a magicka poison injection like execute on fletcher infection so we don’t get locked into using fire staves as ice mages

Eh, I feel like one day ZOS will make a non-class magic execute, but I really doubt it'll end up in a weapon skill line due to some change they make. More likely it would end up in a guild skill line, but whether or not that ever actually happens is anyone's guess. If we were changing existing skills, I think Entropy in the Mages Guild tree is a better candidate for a skill to receive a massive change like that.

I heal much better on my mDK compared to my stam DK, and that's with no major mending on mDK. Cauterize is an excellent HoT, burning embers is a good heal at 5 seconds and terrific at full duration, power lash is what vigor wishes it was, and coag blood is just for pulling myself out of execute range.
Compared to my stam DK, where I have to hit frag shield then vigor and make sure I relieve pressure with LoS, block, dodge, or cc to get out of execute range.
