An extended guide to the use of bow in PvE and PvP

Good evening everybody,
Thank you all for joining. I am here to share with you all, with great kindness and thought for the weakest, how to properly use the bow in both pve and pvp. Please note that this type of game play is extremely complicated, and whoever uses the bow as main weapon can surely share this opinion that many players, beside me, have. Thus, don't be frustrated of the result, but take your time to learn. The following guide will walk you through all the knowledge there is to know to successfully use the bow. Enjoy the video!

Hah. This is an utter and complete misrepresentation.

The players are either actually brand new to the game or are friends/guildies working to exaggerate the results. He is "chased" by a DK that cannot keep up with him as he is walking, and does little more than apply a dot.

He takes 8 seconds of unmitigated burn from a templar that is unable to drop him to half health. The combat show cased is pathetic and that is ignoring his own afk contributions.

Three of my characters are bow/bow (PvE only) and it is indeed a challenging path to do well. This vid, however, is of no benefit to experienced bow/bow players nor of any help to aspiring ones. Eating chicken with one hand while playing is not probably a great tip.

As long as you’re doing it from the keep walls as your allies die on the flags!

I do it mostly while standing in the red during boss fights.

i don't know why the moderators have not yet deleted this thread and video from the eso forums.
the video is insulting, and bashing, and degrading us people who playstyle is archer, as if its not as good as the other weapons of choice.

he did not make this thread nor the video to helpe people.
it is simply made to insult us archers, even though playing with a bow as your main is the same exact thing as any other weapon style play.

While I don't care much that you just copy pasted my whole build including whole sentences, you added nothing to this problem. If I had to update my build (which was primarily for PvE), I would definitely recommend werewolf build. Werewolf is easy to play, even the light attack only is highly efficient in both PvP and PvE, and depending on your disability, you can add skills from werewolf line, which is one-bar only whole time.

Werewolf build is harder for positioning and requires active movement, which can be limiting, but is much much more fun to play and much more efficient than snipe/light attack spamming. The problem what to do in between werewolf form is still there, but if you combine snipe + werewolf, you get really nice build that is easy to play.
