Fear bug allows you to walk through walls, go underground, and kill with no consequences.

Since Murkmire hit consoles, I've been noticing a bug where if an NPC fears you and you cant or don't break free you keep running and running. Right through walls even. I first noticed it iwhen fighting Blackheart. Somehow I end up in the middle of the ocean and was promptly killed by slaughterfish. It happened again in Wayrest when fighting Garron. That time I was actually able to traverse the grey underworld. And finally it happened again in Moonhunter Keep I was actually able to walk from the Jailer straight to Vykosa, read the scroll and I could have killed her I'm sure but that wasn't how i wanted to earn my Alpha Predator on that toon. I'm just putting this up so the necessary people can hopefully do something.

This also happens in Crypt of Heats 2. Usually, I just travel to a player in my group which basically puts me right back at the beginning. Just another one of the long-lasting bugs that's still around.

I once got feared into a stone right in front of alessia keep. My groupmate died on that rock afterwards.

I was constantly ressing him, he got up, got killed by the 15 ppl zerg camping him. I ressed again. For 30 minutes. Was funny cause it was the only thing to to. I tried to warden gapclose on him to get out of the Rock but the zerg just insta killed him and thanks to the "in combat" bug i wasnt able to do /stuck and also the zerg was sieging me. Not enough damage to kill me cause my health reg was higher then this damage.

Thats how you can keep 15 ppl off from sieging a keep. Cause its more fun to kill 1 dude who got stuck in a stone and is nearly unable to hit......

    *caugh* brainless.....

Though, it is interesting about the Moon Hunter Keep one. I'm sure if you used that bug to get the Alpha Predator achievement you'd be tagged as an exploiter and potentially banned (sarcasm), as that seems to happen when they development team drops the balls and people utilize the bugs to their advantage.

Nothing wrong with consequences for those who use bugs to their advantages. After all, that's what exploiting is all about, right?

It's a tough line to draw. Not to derail the original idea of this thread, but what about the people in PvP that use exploits (due to poor programming) to their advantage? Should the suffer consequences?

I don't want to derail anything but the title made me giggle. Technically we all qualify as mass murderers in Tamriel. It's not like there are any consequences.

I'm used to being stuck in something. It's part of the game that I grudgingly look past but you're stuck, that's it. You can't move, or attack or gain any benefit in the COH example. This is something else completely.

Gotta be a joke in there somewhere, but will leave it at that.

But now I have to try this Jailer part out to see what exactly happens. It can be fun sometimes trying to go outside the normal play area, just to mess around.

Lol. Better to be stuck in something than to have something stuck in you. Underneath Wayrest 2 was greyish brown and after running for a bit everything was chequered black and white like a chess board. There were parts that were "water" as in my toon swam in it but it looked no different the rest of the floor.
